Cask at Moon in the Square, Bournemouth. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, caramel, toffee and light overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with very soft carbonation.

Appearance - very close to opaque black but with some red chinks.
Nose - creamy chocolate and toffee. Hazelnuts.
Taste - more toffee, dark chocolate, light smoke.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry crunchy finish.

Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A deep brown colour with a frothy tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, a hint of hazelnut, a little smoke and subtle dark fruit. Taste of roasted malts, coffee, slight dark fruit, a little smoke and subtle hazelnut. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, roasted bitterness in the finish.
