BeardedAvenger (1326) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2017
Cask at Westgate, Winchester. Vague malty aroma. Light brown. Creamy fluffed up white head. Light bitter. Malty. A hint of spice. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. Nice enough but bland.

500ml dark bottle, filtered, from a mixed case bought from the brewer at the brewery in Romsey. I like this. Caramel and soft liquid tangerine marmalade. This is proper beer. It tastes like beer. That wonderful marriage between yeast and malt. And there’s no flavours to take you away from the beer, such as excessive high alpha hops, or bizarre additives like coffee or chocolate. Pure beer, well made, and damn enjoyable. I’m thinking that Flack Manor could be one of my favourite local breweries. They make the sort of beer I like. This is really very drinkable. Yummy.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a fluffy white head, aroma is light and hoppy, the taste is medium bitterness with a dry fruit finish.

Towey1989 (3516) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2016
Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear pale amber colour with a foamy white head. Aroma of caramel, treacle, some apple, slight red berries and subtle spicy hops. Taste is similar of caramel, treacle, syrup, some apple, slight red berries and spicy hops. Light bodied and a syrupy texture. A sweet, treacle and spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Really sweet and sickly, not drinkable and a bit syrupy for a 4.4% bitter.

Stuu666 (15525) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 28, 2016

BlackHaddock (8073) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - FEB 26, 2016
Cask pint in The Shrewsbury Hotel, Shrewsbury on 25th Feb 2016. Red hue to the amber body, on top a creamy head that left some heavy lacing. Malty front with a twig and nut flavour within the semi-sweet caramel base taste. Decent, did not find any citrus notes!

SarkyNorthener (5075) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2016
[email protected], Walsall. Golden amber beer with medium head and good lacing. Aroma is citrus and some spice. Taste is zesty, some spice and strawberry. Ok.
