tap at Ft Wayne Oktobeerfest 2013 - Pours near black with a dark tan head that laces well. It smells of dark roast malt and bourbon. The flavor is high on the bitterness with roast malt, bourbon, and hops. It’s full bodied and very good.

On tap at Chumleys in Broad Ripple... Poured into a mini goblet. Very black with smells of chocolate and coffee. Extreme malty flavor with some coffee notes. Rather bitter for a stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Buffalo trace sazerac rye whiskey. Lots of that full bodied rye whiskey flavor and some dark chocolate really bring this into the realm of a powerful beer
