Intense cucumber smell and taste. It is pleasant by all means but not something I would want much of.

shrubber85 (11460) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Draft/growler. Salty cucumber aroma. Medium yellow with minimal head. Sweet-salty cucumber and light malt flavor. Lightly bitter finish. Very pleasant.

Bottle... Pours clear and yellow with a huge, rocky, white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma features huge, freshly sliced cucumber. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and airy carbonation. The flavor boasts refreshing cucumber up front and then bitter, rindy, tannic hops on the backside. Mid-length, bitter, gherkin finish. Bottle courtesy of StFun!

b3shine (8939) - Indiana, USA - JUL 4, 2013
Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent gold with foamy white head. Smells solid; doughy with a nice cucumber presence. Tastes like it smells, but the cucumber comes across a little stronger. Average on the palate. A decent take on the style, but the cucumber flavor could be a little subtler.

3.3
TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Draft on tap at the brewery (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a richer pale straw hue, gentle dulled body and haze, a touch of yellow glow. Frothy bright white head atop dies to a filmy layer, laces small. Aromas firm green garden, cool cucumber, and gentle bready malt. A more dominant earthy cool cucumber, gentle green pepper, mellow earthy hops. Initial is lighter end of the fold, bigger cucumber elements, green, cool, refreshing. A touch of earth, bready and grainy malt bill. Fairly clean. Middle is more cucumber, touch of citrus, bready and straw malt feel, bit of grass, dough. Backend is cool, a bit bready, doughy. Mellow sweetness mixes with a sustained cucumber feel, bit of fruity apple, lemon. Some drynessn lingering cool cucumber finish. Unique and refreshing experiment. I enjoyed it but don’t see me drinking a ton. Ok. Nose is unreal, potent.

Aroma is malts, fruit and a hint of cucumber. The flavor is cucumber, fruit, malts and a spicy finish.

kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 29, 2016
Can. Pours a hazy light yellow body with a one finger frothy white head. The nose is huge cucumber and a little par malt. The flavor is pretty clean, a nice level of cucumber without being too heavy. Gentle light pale malt under the cucumber. Light bodied with fizzy soft carbonation. Pretty refreshing beer, but probably best enjoyed in the warmer weather though.
