12 ounce bottle courtesy of queenholly. I was in Indianapolis last year and didn’t get a chance to get by Flat 12, so I’m glad to try this. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a huge foamy off-white head. It seemed like it was on the verge of being a gusher. Nice aroma, sweet and toasted pumpkin notes with pumpkin spice, pumpkin seed and a faint touch of bitterness. The taste is big pumpkin spice, some toasted notes and a spicy finish. Medium bodied, lingering spice and very high carbonation. Overcarbonated, but still nice. Bacterial (3074) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Woah, pour this one slow friends! Poured about 4 oz in my pint glass and the head came right up to the top! Big big orange and spicy nose. Flavorful with a nice balance of pumpkin, spice and hops. Quite good, though over carbonated! DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2013
12oz bottle, shared by caterwaul. Clear yellow orange color. Thin white head. Good splotches of lace. Some definite tea-like aromas in the nose, along with some of the expected pumpkin spice aromas. Pretty big and interesting nose. Lighter body. Smooth, crisp, lightly creamy carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Smooth, easy-drinking. Very nice, unique combination of spices, very tasty. Not so pumpkiny, but the spices here used are very tasty. Moderate sweet, light bitter taste. Very solid, tasty, interesting unique spice beer. This was a guest tap that sounded better than it actually was. While not a terrible seasonal it needs to be shored up in a couple of areas. Overall though it is one of the better Flat 12 releases that I have tried in the last year.
Aroma / Appearance - A coppery base with soft legs and wisps of white head swirls around the glass. Spicy pumpkin pie, whipped cream, nutmeg, and squash are cool like the evening of a first frost or a muddy pumpkin patch.
Flavor / Palate - Earthy and mud caked pumpkins stick to the tongue. Dried seasoned seeds fresh from the oven transition to a refreshing finish along with a dash of garlic powder. The mild bitterness is a good touch. It feels rough around some edges. Overall though it is in the ballpark; a fine seasonal worth trying at least once if local to the state.
Aroma is pumpkin, spices and cinnamon. The flavor is spices, cinnamon, pumpkins, citrus, very mild vegetables and a tart/tangy/bitter finish.

Bottle. Golden body with a frothy white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of all spice, cinnamon, pumpkin. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Plenty of pumpkin spicing in the taste, especially nutmeg, all spice and cinnamon. Would have enjoyed more with the body dialed up and the spice dialed down. One was enough. shadey (2171) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 4, 2013
Had this on tap at the East Nashville Beer Festival. Since this is their fall beer, I’m not sure how fresh it is. The pumpkin pie aroma is certainly the highlight of the experience. I smell cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, all in a very creamy mix.The creamy nature continues into the flavor and mouthfeel. The pumpkin pie spice blends with a little alcohol hit in the finish. Not as sicky spicy as some but I didn’t appreciate the noticeable alcohol for a beer that is only 5.7%. JStax (7307) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Draft pour at the source. Aroma has an interesting anise and spicy profile. No bready crusty profile to balance things out. If I were a bigger fan of anise, I would like this beer better. Oh well. Its an alright beer regardless. Floback (550) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - OCT 3, 2014
12-ounce bottle from Crown Liquors. Pours a surprisingly light-colored dark lager body with a thumbnail of frothy head that has good retention. Nice aroma of spices, especially nutmeg. Plenty more of the spice rack in the flavor: clove, subtle cinnamon, a bitter finish. Medium body and soft/medium carbonation. Certainly not my favorite representative of the style, but a decent brew. Thewade (340) - USA - SEP 6, 2014
light in color. Thin head. Light bodies with pretty noticeable pumpkin with subtle spice. Compared to other pumpkin beers this falls in the middle for me.
