When I think of baseball, I do not think of Indiana. I get cheese in the nose. These are not the hops I was looking for. Bitter, yes. Not a treat for the close of this six pack. Let’s recap. two drain pours and two split 12oz beers. What a day! Hope the misses likes this! Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - DEC 6, 2014

Bottle: The aroma consists of light fruit, caramel, herbal and floral hops, soap, and a touch of lemon peel. It pours a slightly hazy golden-orange with an incredibly large head that never fades...in fact, it literally doesn’t stop growing for several minutes. Carbonation looks as though it will be incredibly lively as streams of tiny bubbles rise to the top almost like champagne. The flavor starts with some mild citrus with a hint of caramel. The finish has light-moderate floral and herbal hops, faint grapefruit, a touch of orange peel and soap. It’s medium bodied with surprising soft carbonation and mouthfeel. I really expected this to have a prickly mouthfeel. Overall, I’m generally not a big fan of herbal/floral IPA’s, so this doesn’t do much for me.
Great tasting brew. This one goes down like a champ. It’s such a balanced and enjoyable IPA. Great looking, great tasting. Enjoy. pinkzambia (2069) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 28, 2014
Bottle: clear gold with small off-white head. Interesting aroma of wet grass, citrusy hops and a little pepper. Funky bitter hop almost like rue flavor. Thin finish and sulphuric aftertaste. matthewjk (1125) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 10, 2014
1st try from Flat 12 Bierwerks: Half Cycle is not bad, aggressive dry hopping is pronounced and not altogether pleasant--it’s okay, a bit one-dimensional. Overall, a decent first showing. 12oz bottle.

Aroma: More herbaceous than citrusy; caramel tends toward toffee. Appearance: Light copper with a foamy white head that settled into a bubbly skin. Flavor: Urine up front; a little more malt sweetness after; lingering catty bitterness. Palate: Medium body, slick texture, very soft carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Just alright for me. alexsdad06 (10640) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - SEP 27, 2014
Draft at Dutch’s. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have dank resiny hops, some citrus, a touch of spicy hops, moderate caramel malts, dry hop noticeable, moderate bitterness with good mouthfeel. seymour (2096) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - SEP 15, 2014
12oz brown bottle into a Spieglau IPA glass, thanks David Pole. It poured a hazy light amber with thick white foam, long-lasting with nice lace. Strong hoppy aromas: flowers, honey, caramel, cedar, grapefruit, black currant, cantalope melon. Flavour was nowhere near as good. Overwhelmingly bitter, coarse weediness almost to the point of harsh, not astrigent but getting there. Not enough malt complexity to break through. Light-medium body, strong carbonation, fairly well-concealed alcohol. This seems like the trendy type of bitter IPA from 10 years ago, but I prefer the modern emphasis on flavour and aroma. Pours a hazy orange yellow with a one finger white head. Aroma is sweet with a nice hoppy, grassy aroma on the nose. Taste is instant bitterness with a really bitter finish. To me, the hops are overpowering what could be a flavorful beer. AndyW68 (1589) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - AUG 31, 2014
Hazy orange pour with white head.Aroma is sweet lemon and hops. Taste follows nose. Too sweet for me, but still good.
