COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Half Cycle is so named due to its marriage of single and double IPA characteristics. In baseball parlance, a single and double is half of the cycle, and this IPA is a heavy hitter. Its a single IPA, hopped like a double, with an over-the-top hop character thats a bit spicy, citrusy, piney, you make the call. Light in color, but not on flavor, this big boy is dry hopped with a pound of high alpha American hops in every barrel. ABV: 6% IBU: 104.1

Another flat12 beer poured as a bomb. -huge issue with carbonation though not nearly as bad as the porter. Poured an awesome golden color and once the carbonation settled, it left a nice head and nice lacing. Huge hop nose which is great for a IPA. The grassy hop notes are a bit different than most IPAs I am used to but was nice! Get this carbonation under control and this will be an awesome IPA!

Champions, Indianapolis, draft. Light color. Bitter, hoppy, crisp and a hint of citrus. Clean and good. Nice lingering bitterness. I like it! (Aroma of a hint of sauerkraut.) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with medium off white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is citrus and pine. Medium body, grass, grapefruit, nice bitter finish, very good.

can. Golden with one finger head. Fairly light body with a huge bitter kick from the hops. Its not entirely my taste in IPAs, but based on the description text on the can, they hit what they were shooting for. a definite hop bomb.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2016 Not impressed at all. This is nothing but a bottle of bitter. It starts with an almost earthy, grasslike taste. Like something you shouldnt eat. Lol. Then it just buries you in bitterness. UPDATE: Have to say, after having this another day, without having a different brew beforehand, Im much happier with this. Still has earthy tones but the bitter doesnt overwhelm. Not a bad beer.

Ltt besljad orange l med vitt skum. Doft av citrus, frmst rd grapefrukt, och tallbarr. I smaken s tar en kraftig grapefruktbeska ver lite fr mycket fr min smak.

hotstuff (4902) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 12, 2016
Rated on 01-12-2016 (Bottle) The appearance is a medium sized off-white head that is mostly lasting, transparent yellow body, fizzy carbonation, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is citrus, pine hops, floral, orange, and malt. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus, pine hops, and some malt. The mouthfeel is somewhat aggressive and this beer is medium-full bodied. A quaffable IPA but the hop flavor could be better than it is.

Poured into a perfect pint. Bottle. 3.5 A: Clear light orange color. Two fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is about average and a short ring of lacing is left. 4.0 S: Bright floral and citrusy hops. Grapefruit and pine underneath. Hop forward, but also contains a pleasant caramel and crackery malty backbone. Really nice. 3.75 T: Tastes like it smells. Mild-moderate bitterness. Floral, citrus, grapefruit, and piney hop flavor. Caramel and cracker malt. 4.0 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Moderately creamy and super smooth. 4.0 D: Surprisingly good beer. I had never heard of this brewery until I bought this beer, so I didnt know what to expect. ★ 704 characters DavoleBomb, Mar 05, 2015
