Bottle. Pours a dark brown with tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and hints of chocolate. Taste the same other than hints of vanilla. Decent beer

Pretty good. A nice milk stout with a really nice aroma but a little flat in the flavor. gerbewa (253) - - DEC 13, 2014
Bought a 6 pack art earth fare after having a sample there. Overall a good stout that was fairly bitter. Did not have a lot of different flavor notes. ContemplateBeer (2097) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - DEC 10, 2014
Aroma: Moderate coffee roast with a little fudge; touches of vanilla. Appearance: Jet black pour with a mocha head that settles into a slightly sticky skin. Flavor: Lactose and light fudge up front with more coffee roast presence toward the finish. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, astringent finish. Overall: A pretty nice milk stout; one of the better Flat 12 beers I’ve had. bpar73 (1199) - Bellaire, Michigan, USA - DEC 7, 2014
Bottle. Dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Coffee, chocolate with a light underlying sweetness. A nice stout.

4oz on tap at Ei8ht Ball. Dark brown color, near black from a distance. Thin off-white head, leaving good ropes of lace. Kind of clear brown color around the edges. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Kind of darker chocolate, good bigger roastiness for a milk stout. Moderate sweet taste, good light bitter balance. A solid milk stout. rondphoto (4518) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - NOV 28, 2014
on tap @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Nearly opaque brown/black, brown rim head, stripes of lace. Taste is gritty roasted chocolate malt that never becomes sweet or silky enough to make me believe it is a milk stout, but, what it does possess is enough to be a good brew - solid bitter chocolate malt that becomes edgy on the finish. ben4321 (6841) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 6, 2014

Aroma: The aroma is clean and malty, roast, lactose, fairly light aroma overall
Appearance: Pours a dark brown color with a small tan head and light, drippy lacework
Flavor: The flavor is clean and malty too, not super sweet, but pretty malty, with a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is fairly light, leaning medium’s way, soft carbonation, and a light dry finish
I found this to be a solid example of the style. The aroma and flavor are both on the lighter side, but both are still solid. The lightness of the body works nicely actually, and the smoothness add to the drinkability. Pretty solid stuff.
Bottle. Deep brown body. Short, frothy tan head. Aroma of cocoa powder, chocolate nubs, roasted malt, vanilla, coffee. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Chocolate and cocoa dominate the taste which also has notes of vanilla. The finish displays some roasted malt bitterness. jhliesen (836) - West Melbourne, Florida, USA - JUN 16, 2014
Draft--black with a small, tan head. I imagine the head was larger before it made to my table. Mocha coffee aroma with a hint of chocolate. Taste was more to the burnt coffee flavor, but the beer was thin and milky smooth. Never heard of the beer or the brewer before this and I happily surprised.
