I did not care for this one...not enough hops....too earthy...bitter and a tad sour...bad bottle? MNAle (189) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 14, 2015
16 oz can into an Irish pub-style imperial pint glass. No date on the can. Amber color, moderate carbonation, 1 inch light tan head, leaving thick lacing as it receded. Malty aroma, perhaps a bit of pine. medium feel, but little carbonation means it is pretty flat. The malts are the primary component of the taste, initial, middle, and finish, with just a touch of hops flavor. The malts are earthy more than bready. After several sips, a bitterness appears in the finish and lingering aftertaste. The malt taste is good, but I would have preferred more hops presence, both in flavor and bittering. This beer is much different than I was expecting based on the brewer’s description. Overall, disappointing. Obfuscate (573) - Minneapolis, - MAY 29, 2015
I’ve had bombers of these in the past and always liked them but nice to see this in a 16 once can. Pine and citrus on the nose. Starts nice and hoppy with a creamy malt base then ends slightly grapefruit rind bitter. I’ll probably pick up some more.

Tap at New Bohemia in Golden Valley. On happy hour. Coppery almost amber in color. Minimal, feathery head. Aroma draws on citrus, hop characteristics. Taste is hop centric with a little biscuit note. Mouth is dried out from the bitterness. Some malty sweetness at the very back end. Aftertaste is bitter. It’s drinkable and not too harsh. tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 9, 2015
16iz can shared. Poured a medium orange with white head. The aroma is medium malt base with some citrus hop in the nose. The flavor is where it comes up short. It starts out ok then dies in mid flavor you have the components but it stops about mid tongue. Something just happens here and not good. Nsanders (1144) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - NOV 16, 2013
Bomber. Clear orange with a tall foamy khaki head. Caramel, light alcohol, dried peaches, and tropical fruit hops. Moderately sweet with a dry bitterness. Body is medium with a sticky feel. ccex (1313) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 31, 2013
Bomber pours a clear amber/copper color with small off white head and hardly any lacing. Aroma has grapefruit, organge, and a hint of pine. Taste is slightly bitter with some caramel malty sweetness in the middle. Medium body with just enough carbonaton. This one seemed like more than 6% ABV. A good but not great APA. steeleliver (130) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 7, 2013
Compared to everyone else, I had more hops present than others. Presentation was in bottle. Beer was light, with grapefruit, citrus and hops. Slightly bitter. Palate was smooth, nicely blended.
