afterglow (1047) - Florida, USA - JUL 9, 2008
Bottle courtesy CigarCityBrew. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a very large off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of light fruit, pale malt, and spicy yeast. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium thin mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness and very high carbonation. Decent. milewide (2250) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUL 8, 2008
Some tripel spiciness with a lingering hop bitterness. Amber color and medium body. Medium head, less than most Belgian style beers. sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUL 6, 2008
Courtesy of Gunhaver. Nose was funky and fresh, reminded me of a farm, maybe earthy.
Aroma had a light taste of yeast and spices and malty. Fruity, notes of raisins.
Mouthfeel is thick. pintsize (1042) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 4, 2008
6-1-08 bottle shared at tasting lb4lb (2587) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 4, 2008
Semi medium thick amber with okay head. Lots of thick sediment floating around. Smell is huge citris and has some balancing malt in there. Taste is big orange rind. Drinkable and decent.
Pours rich orange and opaque with floaties. Smell is funky, ashy, burnt citrus like. Taste is mild, and a funky burnt citrus flavor as well. Some orange rind and dry citrusy malty flavor. Interesting, but not great.

Bottle. Light fruit and spice. Burnt orange notes in the flavor and aroma. A very clear pour (except for the last one), bright orange and leaving nice thick lacing. Some earthy flavors, a touch of chocolate and citrus with a bitter finish. Very drinkable. cbkschubert (2901) - BFE, Arizona, USA - MAY 18, 2008
22 oz. bottle received in trade - Pours a clear copper color with a 3/4 finger thick off white head. Has some lively carbonation. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is light malt, yeast, and herbal hops. Flavor is lightly sweetened malt, light banana and some other light esters. Medium body. A fairly smooth palate. You can tell this beer has a Belgium influence. A nice beer. Bottle at dark lord day. Aroma is belgian yeast, caramel, and sweet sugar. Flavor is fruity, spicy, and yeasty. decent. Trev (2023) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - MAY 5, 2008
Bomber from Lakeville Liqour: Pours a copper/amber with a large bubbly head. Aroma is initially fruit, plum & apricot, underlying toasty caramel malt and candy sugar.
Flavour is a little light for my taste though not too light. Sweet malt and a light spicy hop presence. Very clean finish. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - MAY 5, 2008
Bomber bottle from Tyler and served in my NB Worthy glass: Clean coppery amber hue with a fading head and spotty lace. The aroma has notes of apricot and pear esters, candi sugar, doughy and caramel malts, classic Belgian yeast esters and a tad spicy. The taste starts with a twangy acidic fruit and surprisingly moderate hop bitterness over a layer of biscuity malt and some honey. The finish is mildly grassy and hop spiced with a hint of medicinal character. The mouth feel is sharp and a soft, almost too soft as it needed better carbonation IMO. Not too shabby and glad it was not as sweet as the nose let on, nice bitterness overall.
