We took our very popular Angry Planet and added a twist that ups the hop level to an exceptional crisp taste that pleases many. Not so hoppy that it is an IPA, but a nice boost for those that care to venture down hop alley.

I actually really like the angry planet but this was not for me. The original is much cleaner and bright tropical hops where this goes for more bitter grapefruit but it’s just not balanced well.

Yuck...beer is not good at all....the 2.0 was being generous...taste is just off....old bomber?

Quite bitter and piney. Hops don’t work well with the minimal malt profile. Aroma is non existent.

Pour on tap at APN 2013, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice grass, pine, hints of orange peel, spice notes in there with a hint of caramel, toffee, slight yeasty notes as well in there. Taste was a mix of sweet orange, hints of grapefruit, slight earth, nice grass and pine notes, finishing fairly bitter.

Had it out of a bomber. Pours a hazy shade of copper with a frothy thick white head and uneven lacing. The taste is hop citrus and slightly sour, annd a malt caramel aroma.

ChiGuy68 (605) - Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2013
Tasted from a bomber purchased at Elevated in Minneapolis. It poured a clear rich amber with a bubbly off white head and uneven lacing. It has a citrus hop aroma that is different from most other citrus/hop aromas, but I just can’t place what it is. Sour hop taste with an unpleasantly bitter finish. I was looking forward to this bomber, but I’m not even going to finish it.

Nsanders (1156) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - SEP 2, 2013
Bomber. Dark amber with a huge khaki head. Significant caramel, resiny citrus hop, bread, and a slight metallic taste. Flavor is sweet with a short-lived moderate bitterness. Body is a medium with lots of bubbles. It has been too long since I had Angry Planet for comparison, but was less hoppy and more heavy on caramel than I expected.

bnielsen13 (264) - Richfield, Minnesota, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Bottle at home. Pours orange/red with a white head. Aroma is citrus, malt, light pine flavor and aroma. Not bad, but I think I like Angry Planet better.

jcnielsen (3413) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 30, 2013
On tap at Old Chicago’s. Pours a copper color with white head. Citrus, grassy, caramel aromas. Citrus, hoppy flavors. Nice pale.

BeerKurve (520) - - MAY 27, 2013
Dark Clear Amber Color with a frothy 2 finger head and a high amount of carbonation. Strong Citrus & Floral Hops notes and some yeasty toffee notes make up the nose. The flavor has a strong floral hop kick up front with a barley and resin-like finish with a toffee sweetness. Body is moderate but with a strong carbonated kick. It’s not entirely different from Angry Planet but it does up the hops overall.
