Draft. Pours very hazy dark amber with a short head. Big spice and lemony aroma with a hint of sour. Not sure what the spices are, but i don’t get the cinnamon as advetised. Medium sweet, light sour flavor. Full body, thick-creamy texture, prickly carbonation and a long, light sour finish. Really well made. The Belgian yeast presence is somewhat negated by the sourness. Tap at 16 Tons. Medium brown pour with a smallish head. Slight funk aroma, but mainly plum, cinnamon and some apples. Tastes like a mixture of light farmhouse funk, slight vinous notes, apples and a cinnamon finish. On tap at Bailey’s Taproom, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma of cinnamon, apples, some yeast – very spicy and apple-y. Flavour is quite strong, with lots of cinnamon, some ginger-like spices – not an orthodox tripel at all, but surprisingly drinkable for it being so spicy and bizarre, and certainly unique. Good stuff.
