Brewed with artisan Cacao nibs, Portland grown Chocolate Habaneros, and Bulgarian Carrot Peppers, this chocolate chili stout opens with dark chocolate and deep salsa notes, supported by a chocolaty roast backbone.
Brewed with Habenero peppers and artisan Spanish cacao, this was called a "porter" at the Oregon Gardens Brewfest, but a "stout" at the Flat Tail website. This reminds me a bit of the dark malty spice beer "New Belgium: Coco Mole". This is pretty good for a chili beer. The spice & burn Sneaks up on you. Moderate malty start. Dark brown in color.
It was said to be packed with succeulent chocolatey goodness and fiery Habenero heat. Brewed with rich German Munich malt at a base, and loads of Carafa and Chocolate malts to accent the house roasted cacao.
