spicy and citrus hops, with toffee and bready malts. Aroma and flavor match. Moderately bitter. Fairly well done.

Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours dark brown with a huge beige head and a smoky aroma. There is a medium-bodied red malt flavor with a raspy bitter finish.

A pretty strong, American Strong Ale. 8% alcohol, and that is all you will remember.

Bomber from Hayduke. This is very brown and opaque. Lots of carbonation floats up. A nice creamy beige head. The aroma is something I am having a difficult time identifying. Rye and chocolate is the best I can do. Tons of rye in the flavor. Lots of malts, too, but tons of rye. The rye brings spice and a lot of it. Too much rye. There are hops in here but I am having a hard time finding them The rye is almost cloying. I like rye in a beer but . . . Throw some pastrami in with this and you have something.

This was a 22 oz bottle. Strykzone (Dave) had one in Wood River, Illinois and I had mine. We opened together and discussed on Facebook Chat. Poured a rich dark amber with a good sized beige head and very thick lacing rings. Medium plus in body with a smooth yet lively mouthfeel. The flavor just screams rye with earthiness, citrus, and floral hops. There is a hint of bitterness in the finish but again the rye spice is dominant. Generally an excellent rye beer with just a hair too much rye.

Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - AUG 13, 2013
Red pour with a white head. The aroma is full of red malt and grass. The flavor is similar with a lot of red ale malt, grass, pine and resin. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

bottled, thanks to the blackswan , for this, garnet amber color with prickly, hot metallic caramel flavor, toffee finish
