Comes out of the tap a clear dark amber with a fine-bubbled pale tan head that leaves some good lacing. Nice and hoppy aroma has a subtle hint of grapefruit. Hoppy flavor has a yeasty undertone and bitter, woody and fruity hints. Texture is fairly fizzy and rather pleasing. Worth seeking. Sampled on tap at IIPA fest at Saraveza, pours brown / orange with a thick white head. Aroma of herbal hops, pot and butterscotch. Flavour of the same, with a slightly metallic flavour. Unusual flavours. Nice. Beardface (1517) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - JUL 21, 2011
Tap at Saraveza. Dark orange in color with an inch and a half of tan foam. Tastes and smells of resin and caramel, two things I can totally get behind. mcberko (17830) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 18, 2011
Sampled on tap for IIPA fest @ Saraveza, pours dark golden orange with a white head. Aroma of herbal hops, some caramel / butterscotch, and a little pot-like. Flavour of herbal hops, caramel and a metallic finish. A little metallic, though it could be the keg - nonetheless, that’s how it sits. Decent.
