12 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with an inch off-white head that sticks around a long time. There’s also a lot of lacing. The brew smells mostly like citrusy hops (tropical fruit, mango), along with some light caramel malt. It tastes like citrusy (tropical fruit, citrus peel, mango, grapefruit) hops, bready malt, and a nice lingering bitter finish. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit slick and creamy with a good amount of carbonation. I think it’s a good overall pale ale. I’ve had a few different brews from Flat 12 now, and I’ve liked all of them. Definitely worth picking up! BeerdedDave (2041) - Beckley, USA - APR 21, 2014
cloudy amber color; floral hop aroma; a hoppy beer with a good deal of tropical fruit notes on a medium bodied malt base; dry, bitter finish TheArgoPirate (162) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 19, 2014
Draft. Pours golden straw with copious white creamy head that leaves substantial lacing. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit. Taste matches the aroma with a clean bitter finish. Pretty good pale ale. Would be great on a hot day.

Amber with white head. Thin, creamy, and mild lacing. Citrus, apricot, caramel, and mild floral aroma. Medium bodied, Caramelly sweet, fruity, with finishing lemon notes. Decent balance, mild dry zing, and medium bitterness.

Deep golden color out of the bottle with a loose, foamy off white head. Big fruity hop nose. Chewy hop flavors with lots of tropical fruit and candied grapefruit rind, over a coarse home made breadiness. Long hop bitterness in the finish. This is a hop dominated beer for sure.

Cloudy orange with big white head. This one was a bit of a gusher. Nice fruity hop aroma. Flavor is a bit disappointing, opens pretty watery/lagery with some grassy hops in the finish. Not a bad beer, but I certainly wouldn’t buy it. threedap (12) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 24, 2014
Pour this one gingerly, or you will have some cleanup to do - head retention is very nice though. I love the Aussie hops - tropical fruits and citrus on all sides. Pretty aggressively hopped for an APA, but well done

Fresh bottle. Pours light golden yellow with frothy white head. Aroma is passion fruit, grapefruit, some floral notes. Lots of sweetness on the tongue but well balanced with the Galaxy hops and malt. Big flavors here. These "single-hop" beers are a great way to learn your likes and dislikes in the hop world. Sign me up for more of this one! jefcon (1935) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 24, 2014
Definite citrus and mild bitterness on the palate. A slight sweetness from the malts, which accentuate the rich fruit flavors. Not juicy, just kind of middle-of-the-road. With more hop, it would get more complex and interesting. dmac (6646) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JAN 19, 2014
12oz bottle via trade with bmoosey, thanks Bruce. Poured a good looking solid orange amber with a large frothy off white head that lasts and lasts. Aroma is odd, some baby aspirin, fruity, old grains, must. Body is a watery mouthfeel with light tight tingly carbonation and not much of an aftertaste. Flavor is like the aroma but watered down. Didn’t care for this one.
