650ml bomber pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that retains quite well and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and pine with notes of cereal grains. Taste is a bold pine and grapefruit bitterness with an underlying grainy malt sweetness. Medium to heavy body with adequate carbonation leaving a pleasant feeling on the palate. A bold and nicely done DIPA that is definitely worth trying. beernovice39 (3270) - Idaho, USA - NOV 28, 2012
Bottle pours a cloudy dark amber/orange. Thin lacing white head. Scent is citrus and pine. Taste is citrus, pine and caramel. Look forward to having on tap. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - SEP 19, 2012
Grapefruit, pine and floral notes on top of caramel and pale malt. Not iced tea, just some actual nice caramel notes on the nose. A little spicy hop notes as well. Golden amber pour, nice brightness, creamy head. Flavors of caramel and pale malts, a little honey perhaps, grapefruit, pine, and floral notes with a lingering spicy hop aspect. Decent IIPA. Smooth nicely bubbled carbonation feels nice on the mouth. That sounded gay. barn0216 (550) - California, USA - SEP 17, 2012
Bottle, clear amber pour, decent foam and lacing. I think this may be slightly past its prime but i will rate anyway. Hop aroma has faded but i detect grapefruit on top of the malty backbone. Similarly, the caramel and toast flavors come out first, followed by a pleasant bitterness. bytemesis (9003) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - AUG 20, 2012
Tap. Pours clear amber with a medium off white head and decent lacing. Aroma is dominated by that silky smooth grapefruit that makes Pliny so good. Flavor is grapefruit, notes of pine, and a slightly sweet malt backbone. Finish is medium bitter. This is a very nice dipa.

Wasn’t impressed with a sample at the tasting room but I will rate from the 650ml bottle. Good white head looks nice on a gold crisp beer. Scent gives a strong malt note. Flavour has hops, caramel and alcohol. Not overpowering on with any characteristic. Almost a grain flavour mixed in like a hint of rye. Ibrew2or3 (8808) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - FEB 2, 2012
Poured up on tap at the Missoula location with clear deep gold body and copper hues supporting a full semi tight off white head. The modest aroma has hints of both citrus and spicy hoppiness. The taste is nice and chewy with rich hop flavor of malt sweetened citrus and tangy spicy hops. These notes grow into only a modest yet pleasing level of hoppy bitterness. The hop flavor holds right into the finish as moderate bitterness swells from time to time. Solid IPA here with loads of pleasing hop flavor punch. This is just what I was in the mood for. Oh? This is a IIPA. That explains why I liked it as an IPA. gramity (1680) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 27, 2012
RBAG 2012. Poured clear amber with nice white head. Aroma was a nice balance between citrus and grapefruit from the hops and the malt base. Malts show through in the taste asserting some sweetness and nuttiness. Hops add a nice bitterness and grapefruit later in the taste. Quite balanced although I have a feeling this could be much better if consumed fresher. VertBaconStrips (2395) - Blerkablerka, VENEZUELA - JAN 21, 2012
RBAG 2012 Poured out a nice amber brew with a bright white cap. RRGF, peaches, tangerine, caramel, maybe lime, caramel, bit of resin. Nice. Standard flavours, pine, resing, rrgf, peaches, bitterness, darker caramel, goodness. Sa, pathetic quick review.
