Weizen beer. Small head and orange body. Banana and clove aromas typical of the style but also bread and roasty nuances. In mouth it is disappointing. Light body (watery) and very weak taste. Dry beer and acid sensations are dominant. Flavor is weak and sort. Not recommendable beer. Filip

330ml bottle at Andre's. Hazy/cloudy yellow-gold with a large white head. Bananas, yeast, cloves, mild citrus hops presence, touch of smoke(?). Fizzy carbonation. Long yeasty, spicy finish. Nice.

A bottle from Jason's in Muzha. Aroma: pear drops. Appearance: clear amber, pours a good froth, dissipating quickly. Palate: medium-bodied but rather thin, average carbonation. sweet finish with sour notes. Taste: medium-sweet, some vanilla and banana, but ultimately rather watery.

Light opaque yellow, white lacing foam head. Nice fruity aroma and typical weizen taste. OK. (Velp 201708)

Thanks Massimo for this bottle that we drank together two days ago, in my home. I was also drinking the Maisel original the same day and this one is a bit more boring with less aromas than the Maisel. I could say that it is a classical weissbier like the erdinger, nothing special but one pleasant pint between friends. When you pour it, there is a delicious yellow and creamy/troubled aspect, white foam, normal carbonation for the style. The taste is a bit watery, wheat, sweet at the tongue, few notes of banana and in general discreet aromas, few hop.

Overpriced 0.33l fliptop from Victa in Split. Misty darker yellow-golden body with a smaller but lasting white head. Fine estery aroma, banana initially, red apple later on with a caramelly background. Nice light fruity and caramelly taste, good wheat presence, interesting ester profile, even pineapple?! Light but not excessively so, quite drinkable. Light yeasty and vaguely spicy-phenolic in the finish. Overall a very nice light wheat beer, great summer beer. While not the most memorable beer ever, it exceeded my expectations, thumbs up!

Drunk at home from a (very nice) bottle. Thick white foam, a nice yellow misty color. Taste is okay, but I miss the sweetness from other German weizen beer. It is okay overall, but there are better ones.

Trolleo (1718) - Pula / Zagreb, CROATIA - JUN 26, 2017
Banana aroma, yeasty, bready, some spices. Hazy to cloudy deep golden color, big white head, average retention and nice lacing. Taste is bubblegum, some banana bread, bit yeasty, medium sweet. Sweet banana finish. Watery texture, thin bodied, soft carbonation, bit creamy. Bit light but not bad at all.

Bottle. Unclear-amber color, excellent creamy foam. Aroma: banana, wheat bread, a little cloves. Taste: wheat, banana, a light fruit sourness.
