COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The german wheat beers are travelling north. This fairly new wheat sets itself apart from the typical bavarian by its unique taste and the typical flensburger bottle.

33 cl flip-top bottle from Dorrstep Brew. BB 16.04.13, consumed on February 14, 2012.
Hazy golden color, big lasting white head. Sweet, estery banana, a bit spicy phenolic (light) scent. Sweet, malty taste. Light smooth mouthfeel, some banana and malty aftertaste. Low to very low bitterness.

A bit blurry golden colour. Classic big dense white head. Aromas of yeast, banana, grains. Soft wheat taste with a kind of sour finish. Medium to high carbonation, almost no bitterness. Decent wwizen.

ronaldtheriot (1918) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JUN 6, 2017
Flensburger Weizen has a thick, off-white head, a hazy, highly bubbly, deep gold appearance, a descending yellow-gray cloud, following the swish & pour, and minimal glass lacing. Aroma is of banana, bubble gum, nougat, wheat bread, and wheat bread crust. Taste is of the same, with honey notes. Mouthfeel is fluffy and full, and Flensburger Weizen finishes medium dry. RJT

klukas (267) - Rijeka, CROATIA - MAY 2, 2017
Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into a weizen glass. Appearance: Hazy ocher colour, with rich thick head. Aroma: Wheat, banana/pear. Palate: Watery, gentle carbonation. Taste: Wheat; lightly sour. Overall impression: Quite ok, slightly different than usual weizen beer. Cute bottle.

Grumpelmies (318) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - APR 12, 2017
Bottle. Cloudy orange with a big foamy head that dissappears quickly. Aroma is bananas galore with a little bit of clove and lemons. Taste is bananas and yeast with some lemons added. Strong carbonation. Thin and watery. Solid and drinkable for sure but with so many better Hefeweizens at my disposal I doubt I will ever have this one again.

Svesse (8573) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2017
(Bottle, Café Pigo, Duved, Sweden, 22 March 2017) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, wheaty nose with notes of bread, citrus, toast, fruit salad and a light acidity. Malty, wheaty taste with bread, citrus, canned fruit and a low bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Not one of the most interesting wheat beers, but quite enjoyable.

wombat23 (1362) - Texas, USA - MAR 7, 2017
11.2 oz. bottle. Pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma of wheat, grass, faint banana. Taste follows nose, with a bit of spice (faint) and yeast. Banana is there, but it’s quite subdued in this bottle. OK.

Nice weizen with very good bottle although I am not used to 0.330l weizen beers ;-) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2017 Big banana aroma with an astringent water under it. Glowing hazy golden with tint bubble lasting white head. Smooth big floral fruit coming from the wheat. Lots of flavor. Body is a little thin.

Bottled. Az illata és a kortyérzet rendben volt, viszont túlságosan vékony a teste.
