fine reddish brown colour; taste also tasty on one side sweetishly, on the other side, however; is somehow tangy; moreover, it gets a little smoky, pleasant in the aftertaste

330ml flip-top bottle bought at Barley Wine Copenhagen. Decent, white head with moderate duration. Clear, light amber in body colour. Straight and mild bready malts to the nose. Flavour of honeyed sweet malts with more grainy malts in the aftertaste. Noticeable, but integrated alcohol. Clean tasting. Satisfying (shared with Frau Eva at home in Tromsø, 28.01.2011).

from Bier-Bienne - clear and bright amber-golden beer with no foam left; aroma of caramel, apple and alcohol; fizzy and sticky palate; pretty sweet, no bitterness, very malty and with a long malty and caramelish aftertaste

Flavors are mainly dried fruits and a hint of chocolate. Alcohol is also fairly prevalent. Finishing is sweet and spicy.

Apart from the ubercool bottle there’s nothing really great about this beer. too much maltiness and yeast. Veggies with some sourness and way too light for a bock, almost golden
