Chalky aroma with a blast of spicy hops and some hay. Clear dark straw covered by a thin, white, flannel blanket. Quite sweet base malt flavour with some fruity ethanol. Accents of raisin, cardboard, and walnuts. Bitterness is quite low. Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, borderline sticky sweet, slightly warming. 33cl bottle @ Flensburg. Pours clear golden with a small creamy lasting white head. Nose is sweet of alcohol, fruit & bubblegum.Taste is bready and malty with a clear note of alcohol. A bit watery palate. Not impressive. turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - JAN 2, 2010
Pours a quite light golden colour with minimal head. Nondescript aroma. Tastes quite alcoholic and without the malty sweetness I’d expect. Sub-par. beerlady (556) - lucerne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 21, 2009
clear orangeish golden beer. smells of mallt and cookie-like. while drinking it, some mallt, a bread-like hint and hidden hops are there, and some metal. aftertaste is is bittersweet, bready, some metal too. not a good bock. brokephibroke (315) - Mead, Colorado, USA - NOV 21, 2009
Bottle from the grocery at Taipei 101. Mild malty aroma. Taste of raisan and spice, warming and bitter aftertaste. Maybe I like it because I just spent 10 days in CHina drinking Tsing Tao.

Weak aroma of metal. Appearance is amber with big white head. Flavor is weak with hints of malt. Overall this is a boring beer. LanceUppercut (139) - SWEDEN - NOV 14, 2009
A nose of hops and citrus. Taste is of iron and funk.Finish is "rancid" and dry. Boring and hopeless. Panzerfaust (870) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - APR 27, 2009
Pours a medium amber color with a medium white head that dissappears entirely after a couple of minutes. No lacing.
Aroma is of sweet malts with high doses of caramel, molasses and milk. Some cereally notes.
Flavor is sweet, caramelly with notes of molasses, dried fruits, raisins, candy bar and caramel. Unfortunately it tends a little to the cloying side, especially when you’re finishing the bottle.
Medium to big body, syrupy texture. Low carbonation and long sticky finish.
A decent bock which could be better with less sweetness. Nightfall (1307) - Hamburg, GERMANY - APR 22, 2009
33cl Flip Top Bottle. Golden orange color with a fast disappearing head. Sweet, mildly malty with some spices, rather light and one-sided. Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - APR 21, 2009
