Pours black with a full, thick tan head that settles slowly. The aroma is roasted, with coffee, chocolate, milk, and vanilla. Its a little unusual as the milk are vanilla are easily the strongest scents. Minimal bitterness here. Chocolate, raisin, and coffee are found on top, while underneath I find milk, licorice, and cocoa. All with a roasted base. Long lasting finish consists of coffee and chocolate. Medium in body, with a thick, creamy texture, and soft in carbonation. Pretty good overall without any negatives. BlackBeerPG (1015) - Darien, Illinois, USA - FEB 9, 2016
Taste is rather crisp for a milk stout. Roasted chocolate malts and hints of lactose milk and coffee beans.
Nose is malty and a hint of cocoa. Dark brown/black color and mostly opaque. Medium body with a very delicate lace, smooth and clean on the finish. 15 IBUs edgallow (4705) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 26, 2016

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home after the first decent weather run of the year, sign of warmer days to come. Appearance is a moderately thick pitch black with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted chocolate, mocha, lactose, coffee, oats. Taste is deliciously smooth, chocolate and oats come through, gives off a rich flavor as well, I’m liking this one. arminjewell (9744) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JAN 18, 2015
Pour on tap, dark brownish black pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of dark chocolate, roast, nice sweet lactose into a bit of roast, coffee, slight yeasty note into a bit of dark fruit. Taste is a mix of dark fruit, cocoa, roast, some slight coffee, touch of lactose, finishing fairly roasted, slightly sweet. crossovert (14240) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 5, 2014
355ml bottle. Dakr black pour wiht a large and nicely foamed tan head. Its a beaut. Smell is mild, its got peat, cocoa, and basic mineral/co2. Flavor is cocoa, dark fruits, roasty, super smooth and drinkable. Sweet up front but a nice bitterness and dryness in the finish. You get a nice tan "milk moustache" when drinking the first few sips. This beer eluded me for awhile but nice to finally try it. orangenblu62 (39) - Illinois, USA - MAY 4, 2014
Dark pour with a tan creamy head. Toaty chocolaty taste with a smooth finish. More carbonation than I expected. Overall a solid stout. Tmoney99 (15233) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 29, 2014
Bottle. Poured a clear dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate toasted chocolate malt aroma. Medium to heavy toasted milk chocolate flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a good sweet beer.
