3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask (handpump) at the Salutation, Nottingham on 13 July 2012. Clear gold. Pleasant firm citrus aroma. Rather tangy on the palate with zesty lemon to the fore. Dry finish, clean mouthfeel. Described as a good session ale and that about sums it up.
500ml bottle at home, from Top of the Hops, Kilmarnock (bb 28 Nov 2016), grain, citrus, spicy aroma, golden with a huge foamy off-white head and lively carbonation, grain, earthy, citrus, some minerals, light spice. niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2015
Cask at Congress, Longton. Giving this an average score as it was not served in good condition which was a fault of the pub. edsspoon (905) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 22, 2015
Cask - slightly hazy gold with a creamy off white head. Aroma of pine, lemon and pepper. Taste of pine, lemon, dirt and grapefruit with a light dirty bitterness to finish. Quite peppery. Medium body. zacgillbanks (5506) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2015
Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A hazy straw coloured beer that pours with a huge rocky head of foam. It has a sweet citrus and toffee flavour, a slight tart lemon body followed by honey and floral fruit on the finish. Very good for a low ABV beer. jamesie1857 (1980) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2014
Bottle pour at Carlton Town FC - Golden body, with foamy towering head. Nose is a beautiful fresh citussy aroma, with oranges to the fore. A bit of a disappointment in the taste though with a bit of stingy hop, spicy hay and bitterness. Average.

Sun Inn, Kelvedon. Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and light. Light sweetish pale malts. Nice zippy orange - lemon hops, light but bright! Whisper of hops spice. Moderate citric peel bitter linger. Very light and drinkable.
Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Gold with white head. Biscuity, slightly thin beer with a grainy, quite oatmeal type flavour. There is a lingering bitterness with a slightly perfumed note. Reasonable. Beersiveknown (5302) - NORTHERN IRELAND - NOV 10, 2013

Cask. Golden color with small white head. Aroma of malt, citrus, citrus zest. After promising aroma, taste was big disappointment, very bland malty base, with very shy citrus hops.
Cask @ the Earl of Essex. Light amber gold, tiny head. The nose is bread, white grape, angel food cake. The taste is light honeyed grain, streak, more white bread and light citrus. A fairly straightforward golden. OK.
