GABF 2014 Rating (Denver, CO). Pours a nice glowing amber orange hue, gentle haziness, frothy whitish head stays as a mellow filmy layer, decent lacing and stick around. Aromas are a bit tart, spicy with gentle citrus, persimmon, sweeter fruit and a bit of funk, tartness. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, a bit tart with persimmon, carmelized malts, a touch of fruity sweetness, faint brown sugar, some bread, spiciness. Mellow tartness, gentle yeastiness as we turn the corner. Backend a bit more dry and bitter, touch yeasty, funky. Some tartness, a bit of earthy bitterness and warmth. Almost a cinnamon jab at times back here. Solid. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JAN 7, 2014
Lemony, citric hops yet with a good Brett funk. Belgian base yeast I thought at first, bit quite clearly fermented. Nice classic basic bitterness gives a modern appeal. (On tap at Flix Brewhouse) kidmartinek (4999) - austin, Texas, USA - NOV 13, 2012

Bottle courtesy of Walt at BCTC. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Candy and shower gel on the nose. Sweet and fruity. Bright and lively, malt toast and not nearly as much acid as I was expecting from the nose. Soft musk, some light styrofoam notes. Musk, wheat, and yeast on the finish. egajdzis (6501) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 6, 2012

Tap. Clear copper pour with a thin white head. Sweet citrusy aroma with some funk. Taste is citrus with a little caramel and funk. There is a nice balance between the tart and the sweet. mmmbeer (1418) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2012
Tulip glass at the joint- served a tan/coppper color, almost like apple juice, no head and sat very still in the glass. Aroma of yeast, granny smith apples, brett, and a note of funk. Hits the mouth with a very light body, sour and tartness dominate from start to finish but at least it isn’t overpowering, clean tart apple finish. Intriguing, but kind of one dimensional.
