Cask at The Albert, Westminster. Hazy bright yellow, very small white head. Aroma is musty malt, burnt plastic. Body is medium, low carbonation, smooth. Taste is strong ashy malt, wet stick, oil. I can drink it, but it’s not overly pleasant.

Amber brown, slightly caramelly aroma. Mostly caramelly palate though with a hint of burnt electrical phenols. Theydon_Bois (20158) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2013
Cask at Ales and Tails, Twickenham, 04/05/13.
Clear dark amber with a thin off white head.
Nose is a big dose of malt, earthy, slightly musty, a touch metallic, toffee.
Taste comprises dark malts, dark toffee, dark fruits, dates, pinch of tobacco.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, light bitter notes in the finish.
Ok drinkable mild but perhaps carrying a little too much in the way of bitterness to be classed as a mild for me. Leighton (21839) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2013
Cask at Tap East, London. Pour clear, amber-gold with a light, white foam head. Toasty grain nose, some mild toasted hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with whole grain brown bread, some toasted sugars, faint hay bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly dry to finish, more grainy brown bread, light coffee. Nice little mild.
