Cask at the Florence Brewpub as ’Weasel Beer’. Hazy light orange, still, small white head, foamy lacing. Aroma is light, subtle, non-descript, musty. Body is medium, slightly foamy, rounded mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Taste is resin-forward, light medicinal, heavy straw, drying. Alright. mR_fr0g (11913) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2014
Cask at the brewpub. Clear golden coloured pour with a sticky loose white head. Aroma is nice lively floral citrus with some grainy wheat. Flavour is grainy malt, tangy citrus, orange peel, assertive slightly rough bitterness. Palate is medium dry, fairly light, moderate carbonation. Decent enough bit rough round the edges. harrisoni (18436) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2014
Cask handpull at The George on The Strand. Clear gold thin bubbly white head. It’s an ok golden ale. Not too exciting. Some peach and apricot flavours. Not in great condition but its got some hop sting. It’s fine even quite likeable. Ok bitterness on the finish. HogTownHarry (6622) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 25, 2013
August 21, 2013 - hand-pull cask at The George (Fleet Street) - as "The George Weasel Beer". Hazy brassy gold with a fairly small but long-lasting creamy straw-coloured bubbly head, mottled. Virtually no aroma - light grain, not particularly sweet, not nasty, just ... not much - maybe a bit floral. Taste is okay, inoffensive, quite floral and a little grassy/herbal - pungent, lightly grainy but again not particularly sweet; light alcohol. Average body, a bit chewy - some building astringency, weak carbonation, slightly longer than medium dry somewhat pungent grassy/herbal aftertaste. Decent, nothing special, a bit more bitterness than some. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAR 12, 2013
Cask conditioned handpump George London 28/02/13. A blonde beer with an off-white head. A pleasant hoppy golden ale. A decent malt backbone but the hops predominate. Delicate and tasty. Nicely sessionable.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’12. Cloudy gold with no head. Highly perfumed beer with quite a sour off note, there is bitterness but the sourness is quite dominating and off putting. Not very good unfortunately. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 19, 2011
A Mes rate. Cask at the Florence.ladnewton (1937) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 10, 2011
Slightly hazy golden colour with a reasonable white head and lace. Faint white wine note on the nose with a pleasant lick of hops underneath. A fairly straight forward bitter and maybe a little unimaginative in the mouth. But I’ve no real complaints overall. Decent earthy malt base with some light floral hoppage on top. Pleasant bitter finish with a hint of honey. Very easy to drink and in the time it’s taken me to think about it and type this in, I’ve pretty much dealt with my half. Decent but uninspiring.
Cask at the Florence, London on 1st June 2011. Clear amber with white foam and part-lacing. Sweet fruity/caramel aroma. Malt and light hoppiness in-mouth with floral and fruity notes continuing along with some cheesiness. Pleasant lightly saline mouthfeel and a bittersweet lingering finish. fonefan (48740) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2009

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange, soap. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2008 Draught at the eponymous. Hazy pour with noncommittal head. Smells of detergent, more specifically, those things you used to blow bubbles with. Taste similar at first, replaced with an over-strong bitterness, mellows out to a half-decent finish. Not a bad homebrew, but not a good beer.
