Fresh bottle from Publix in Viera, FL. Taste is incredibly smooth for the ABV, strong hop flavor. Sneaky strong beer. Look forward to every trip to Florida so that I can stock up on this again! ghawener (1604) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - JUN 2, 2012
Bottle: I´m confused! This beer is GREAT? Why the low ratings? Please write. Extremely complex, full hop character, great aroma, profile continously changes, finish is awesome. Loved it. Food Pairing: Margarita Pizza. DWestrick (732) - Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 7, 2014
bottle. One of the best Imperial IPA’s I’ve had. Intense hops, well masked alcohol and big citrus - all incredibly balanced. Bummed I only had one. This is a phenomenal beer! Christpuncher (3110) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 11, 2013
Tho is a smooth double ipa. Really strong and hoppy. Smells super hoppy and has a malty bitter finish.

12oz Flasche. Dunkle orange Farbe mit flachem Schaum. Extrem wuchtiges Hopfenaroma. Citrus, Marakuja, Kräuter, Karamell. Komplexer bitterer Geschmack, leicht alkoholisch. Nichts für Anfänger!

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2016 I enjoyed this DIPA and thought it was a good beer. Swamp Ape pours a cloudy, golden amber color with a healthy off-white head. It has a nice balance of taste and smell with a familiar high gravity aroma and bitter/sweet taste. The finish is hoppy, but smooth and ends with high gravity alcohol bite. Florida Beer good job! dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - APR 13, 2011
Bottle at Coffee District. Dark amber color with a thin bubbly head. Aroma is pretty much hoppy, earthy, and piney. Flavor has a good hop presence with a solid malt back. The malt makes this beer a little sweet, probably a little to sweet for my liking. A solid beer non the less. Finhead (1742) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - AUG 27, 2012
Clear, orange-copper with a small white head. It has a hoppy citrus aroma that matches the hoppy bittersweet taste. The medium body has a slick, oily texture with average carbonation. There is some alcohol warmth in the smooth finish. Itzjerm (2794) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Lasting head on this clear beer. Light hop aroma for a sweet smell, before you taste the sweet ipa. Like many High gravity IPA, very sweet. Not balanced, on the sweet side, but not a bad beer. Drinkable, enjoyable. Top notch.
