Hazy pink with an off-white pinkish head, though perhaps a shade of grey in there. Nose is of strawberries and rock candy. In the mouth its much the same, but delivered with a heavy dose of sugar and a light bitter/sour end. Strange combination of tartness and sweetness. Not a pleasant palate - rather slimy. And it all gets a bit sticky towards the bottom of the bottle. Okay for a strawberry juice and better than a lot of alco-pops; just not really one for beer drinkers.

Pours out of the bottle in a cloudy light red colour with low steady head and medium to thin body. Aroma of ripe strawberries. Taste of artifical strawberries, hay and straw. Strange bitter finish which makes it awful to finish.

Cloudy amber with a red tint and a white head. Aroma is malty barley and wheat with strawberry and a little metallic. Taste is confusing... malt, honey, strawberry, wheat... theres too many conflicting flavors going on. The finish is very, very acidic.

Aroma is very sweet like strawberry bubblegum. Texture is pleasantly thick. Flavour is generally very sweet and strawberry like. Finish is a touch watery.

330ml bottle bought at Gorgeous Wine & Cigar in Yuen Long. Cloudy, hazy and dull light ruby red colour with dirt-like yeast sediments ; Very thin head and off white foam which last about 30 seconds; Small and sticky lacing with notable carbonation; Aroma of fresh strawberry, strawberry juice, rhubarb and sugar; Medium sweet taste of strawberry juice, very light malt, carbonated soda water, molasses and light white wine; Mid to light body, thin but slick palate; Taste profile is largely strawberry - fruit and juice - with moderate sweetness accompained by mildly tart vinery taste. Its body is suitably thicker to back up the sweet taste. A nice feature. Hoppiness is manifested in aroma, bitterness is close to zero, with sweet and dry as finish; Pretty dry after taste, extremely easy and tempting to mouth.

Comments: this is quite a well-made fruit beer. Compares to Van Diests Fruli Strawberry, this is thicker in body, with appropriate sweetness, tartness and refreshing taste. Perhaps the best fruit beer from the Floris fruit beer line up. Recommended.

Hazy pinkish-red with a thick, creamy, lacy, lasting pink head. Smells of strawberry through and through. Very potent that fills the room. Medium thin body with soft carbonation. Tastes of sweet strawberry, candy red with a nice tartness on the finish with some sour notes on the finish. Consistent throughout and not too sweet. Very nice to drink and perhaps one of the best Floris beers

Enjoyed on 10/18/2011

Had on tap at Delerium Cafe in Brussels.

I should start by warning that I am not a fan of fruit beers - they are generally too sweet or sour for my palate and I dont enjoy them. This Floris Strawberry, however, might be the best of the sweet fruit beers Ive ever had (ignoring the ones like Cantillon that are actually well balanced).

Poured ruby red into a tall pilsner with minimal head. Nose was absolutely blasted with strawberries. Like walking in a field of fruit in spring.

Excellent mix of sweetness and berry tart on the tongue. Supper bubbly, like champagne. The CO2 acidity nicely balances the strawberry sweetness. Very crisp! Perhaps some hint of other berries, possibly black raspberry. Little bit of Rhubarb-like tartness at the end. Just a touch of alcohol lets you know that it is actually a beer.
