Looks like the wit its built on, hazy pale straw with a thick fizzy head. The aroma is a yeasty, sweet/sour apple concoction - okay. I preferred the taste, the combination of wheat, yeast, and apple blending into a apple dumpling flavor. A bit sweet, perhaps, but good for the Summer.

Sour apple nose is very prominent. Pours with a hazy cider-like quality with a rich wheaty head. Flavor of tart and sour apple cider with a somewhat cloying sweetness in the aftertaste. Some wheatiness in texture...smooth and chewy. Decent enough, but only in very small doses.

Aroma is like sour apple candy, very sweet, with a sourness. Pours a hazy yellow, almost white. The flavor is a lot more subtle than expected, very mild tasting. A subtle sour apple candy flavor. It would be a nice dessert beer.

Cloudy, really light yellow color With a moderate height, bright white head. The more I sniff the more sickeningly sweet the aroma becomes. Sour apple, bubblegum seems to come to mind, none of which has ever been appealing to me. Some hints of stale cinnamon and spices also seem to be in play. Sour cream apple pie is the first thing I think of after the first sip. Yogurt, apples and some light spices all seem to come into play. Are they playing nice? I guess so. They dont seem to fight each other or be too cloying. Yet, it does seem to get to be too much the after each and every sip. Seems like this might be good over pancakes or as an ice cream float. Actually this would likely be really good to cook pork with. One should know that once talking about the only redeeming quality, it that it could be used in cooking there is a problem.

Elisa sampled bottle at Delirium cafe. Unnatural first impresison in aroma and appearance. aroma of junky apple candy. appearance is cloudy white grape juice. Flavor is bartles and james (wine cooler)/apple juice. very, nearly sickly sweet palate. "eh" no thanks, Im a big applehead but I dont think its something destined for beer, Ive eveb become disenchanted with the Ephemere...

Apple aroma, thin white head. Hazy yellow colour. Tender flesh mouthfeel, candied apple taste. Lovely.

a pretty nice lambic, maybe a bit too cloying and heavy. Not worth a good cider. Drink it along an apple pie or a fruit salad.

Thin creamy head with dull orange hue, quite cloudy. Rich candy apple on the nose. Very clean and pure. Overt fruit flavours settle down a little in the mouth although some sweetness persists. Like the other beers from the house a simple style but done well. Pleasant drink.

Draught at Birreria Paradiso in DC. Huge boquet of apples really slams into your face, kind of like a frieght train full of apples slams into your face as you lie on railroad tracks, hoping that a train full of apples will run into you, because you would really like to have an apple beer. Not a great analogy, I am not very good at them, although the imagery is palpable...hmm. At any rate, the aroma of apples is huge, but doesnt carry through to the taste. Almost no apple flavor, but there is something there. This is actually one of the best apple biers I have ever had the pleasure of drinking.

Draught at Capital Ale House in Richmond, VA. Hazy yellow color with thin white head. Rich mosaic of aromas and flavors including sweet apples, cinnamon, yeast, and maybe coriander??? Light, crisp, and bubbly. A bit too sweet for me, but very refreshing.
