Thanks to PriorL! Sampled 33 cl. bottle @ Gents Bierfestival 2014. Sampled as Zoeteke Appelbier. Lightly hazy artificial citrus, fluffy chemical white head. Extremely sweet nose, pure artificial sweeteners, beyond overkill, super sweet lemonade apple. Very chemical sweet taste, dough, artificial sweetener to the limit with insanely sweet sweetened lemonade apple juice. Touch sticky powdery body, touch lively carbonation. Beyond sweet.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow with almost no head. Aroma of green apples, yeast and spices, slightly phenolic. Taste of sweet apples, sugary and fruity. Medium-bodied with high carbonation. Very simple, but drinkable when chilled.

Na Newton het beste appelbier dat ik ooit geprobeerd heb. Lekker fris voor in de zomer

Total secret I confess that I actually enjoy such a beer in the summer heat. Creamy sweet candy like apple juice flavor.

Pours with much head and an amber appearance. The flavor has a lot of apple; almost too much, but the spices add some more complexity. I enjoyed this beer!

Bottle (330 ml). As "Foudroyante Pomme". Bought by mistake thinking is was Lindemans Apple - a fruit lambic tick - as the Lindemans Gueuze is also known as "Foudroyante Gueuze". Hazy yellow with a small ring of white foam and little lacing. Aroma of green apple, light spices, sugary notes and something medicinal too. Taste is of green apple, light spices, rotten notesm sugar and medicinal presence. Weak body. Moderate carbonation. Light spicy finish. It is as bad as the ratings suggest.

Bottle. Cloudy greenish gold. Green apple and pear puree aroma, sweet fruity taste: esteric notes. Medium body, very carbonated and candy-like finish. Surprisingly enjoyable.
