330ml bottle as Floris Wit-Blanche at abv 4.8% bought at Jar Nei Lo Mei in Mong Kok.

Cloudy hazy pale pear juice colour with a cloud of dirty yeast particles; One-quarter finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with very slight carbonation; Fragrant aroma of light malt, with strong wheat, fair tartness, orange peels, coriander, tangerine, floral, light sugar, spices, lemon and light grass; Close to light sweet taste of light malt, with strong wheat, fair tartness, strong orange peels, coriander, floral, very light sugar, strong spices, strong dough, strong yeast, lemon, fair to light bitter hops and grass; Medium body. Slick palate; Mouth Feel is light maltyness in a pretty thick background. Lots of wheat but rather light tartness. Some spice with bitter orange peels and coriander, and earthy roots. Flowery and light sweetness, very dry and doughty with fair lemon to round. Okay Hoppiness is floral, lemon and light grass in nose and taste; Bitterness is fair but notable for an abrupt, mid to light astringent bitter-sweet wheaty finish; Dry after taste. Spicy and light bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one looks dirty, but taste-wise its pretty solid with very obvious spicy orange peels and coriander. Woody and dry, Its kinda conservative but did its homework. Drinkable.

Une blanche qui sannonait bien avec une robe trouble et un nez la fois fruit et pic mais la bouche doit avec un manque de tension et de longueur et une finale aqueuse.

Bottle from JSG Wine Merchants, Hills Road. Light yellow, cloudy. Scent of lemon and coriander as would be expected, but also some chlorine. Taste is awful. Earwax bitter overlaid with a saccharin note. Acrid and bilious finish. Vomit and garam masala aftertaste. Is it that hard to make a decent fucking Witbier? Deplorable.
