Jeez, how can a beer this mass produced and filtered still foam out if the bottle... Anyway, ugly frothy head, clean body. Very apple cider like. Simple taste though, too clean, no character. (33cl bottle from Delhaize Heverlee) JefVerstraete (3305) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - JUN 10, 2015
Bottle from Delhaize. Reminds me to Postel Blond from the same brewery. Orange peel, citrus and banana. Light sweet, light bitter aftertaste. Decent. mjik83 (1558) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 15, 2015
33cl flesje via Delhaize, Kontich
Alcoholpercentage van 7%
Uitgeschonken in Grimbergen glas
Bekende tonen. Niet echt mijn ding.

Amber bubbly with medium white creamy head. Sour sweet aroma. Taste bitter with carbonation, some yeast fruitness. Mild bitter aftertaste on the tongue root. Alengrin (5249) - BELGIUM - JAN 15, 2015
Abbey beer for the Delhaize supermarkets since 1994. Iím a bit surprised to find it has its own entry here, since at least in those days, this was clearly an alias of Affligem Blond; not sure if this is still the case, though. Rating based on old notes; peach blonde beer with medium, rather thick head and malty sweet character with sourish hints, some peachy esters, sweet spicy accents, iron, warming alcohol and herbal hops in the finish. Iíll buy another bottle soon for a re-rating, just to find out if this is still Affligem Blond. Oh, and by the way: stylewise, this is a Belgian ale, not a golden ale, which is an Anglo-Saxon beer style... sdmmb (1826) - BELGIUM - DEC 6, 2014

Fun fact of the day ;
The bottle contains a rather long description . Roughly said, it sais that the beer will turn more fuzzy with the ínatural í yeast in it ... Newsflash - this is not unique to your beer . If thats all you have to say as positive for you beer , it makes me fearfull ....
pours clear ( I seperated yeast LIKE A PRO ) Good white head fades rather fast .
Smell is same old sweetness, with a grainy and slightly bitter back ( Sigh, Iím bored already )
Taste is sweet, slightly grainy but mostly sugar . Yeasty frontnote ( reminds a lot of affligem, or is that just a play of mind ? ) Overcarbonated, as to be expected ...
Its not bad , but if you told me its affligem , id believe you . If you told me its one of the other 1000 beers that taste almost exactly alike , I believe you too ...
perhaps one day they turn out all to be aliases ???? Hahaha
