Tasted on draft at the Pre-DLD party at Flossmoor Station. Pours cloudy pale orange with a thick, smooth white head that leaves thin, even lace. The nose is super funky barnyard, with some tart fruitiness, bandaid funk, bread, and lemon pith. The flavor is extremely funky with bandaid, burnt rubber, animalistic barnyard, tart lemon, and some ripe apple fruit. The body is medium with lively carbonation, and a very long funky barnyard, and tart lemon finish. dm9831 (1512) - Monee, Illinois, USA - SEP 23, 2011
hazy gold, small white head, lacy. funky fruity nose. taste is tart and fruity, with strong sour notes and a trace of vanilla (possibly the only thing i detected that might be barrel related). medium bodeied, dry finish. sampled pre dld. BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - AUG 6, 2011
Pre-DLD event: Slightly hazy golden hue with a fizzy but lasting head. The aroma has notes of lemon zest, horsey and minerally brett, dusty and biscuity malts, some oaky and vanilla notes, with a dash of leafy hops. The taste is twangy and earthy with a lactic and fruity background. Not to bretty and wild but there is enough there you know it. Solid crisp pale malt extraction. The mouth feel is utterly refreshing, lively and clean, dry finish. A fun summer beer, most excellent! HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - MAY 27, 2011
Sampled at the Pre-DLD party at Flossmoor Station. Pours a golden-yellow hazy pour with a small white head. Aroma is bretty, with notes of apples, grapes, hay, funk. Smells really nice, actually. Flavor has a nice sourness with lots of funk and earth. Light brett, lemon, touches of dust and hay. Seems almost cheesy. Nice effervescent mouthfeel. Enjoyed this quite a bit. peculiar beer. potent nose of flowers, perfume, paint thinner, and a touch of watered down whiskey. slight hint of lemon pepper and grass. neat beer, but there was a peculiar bandaid paint thinner note that was a tad offputting to me. still, enjoyable and unique.

On tap at the brewery. Pours clear golden yellow with little head. Perfect sourness. Any more and I felt it would be too strong. Barely anything else here but the sourness. Excellent beer. phaleslu (10267) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 2, 2011
Draft at the pre-DLD event at Flossmoor Station. Pours a bright, somewhat cloudy gold color with a small white head. Aroma of bretty funk, apples, white grape skins, sweet malts, lactic acid, and lemon citrus. Flavor of champagne, dry bretty funk, apples, sweet malts, yogurt, oak, white grapes, and straw. Light-bodied, with medium-to-high carbonation and a dry, champagne-like mouthfeel and tart aftertaste. Awesome beer that is so easy to drink. lushawn is a shithead for not liking it that much, and all the people with sophisticated palates like me, BBB63, stevemastny, and TheAlum enjoyed the hell out of it. Very nice sour ale, this one had a golden colour and it tasted very sour, which made for a very good beer, I really enjoyed this one, It was a tasty one TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAY 1, 2011
Draft on tap at Black Friday Event (Flossmoor, IL). Pours a glowing banana yellow hue, some good hazines, near murky. Smallish bright white head dies to a small film, laces small. Aromas are a plethora of dry bretty funk, hay, barnyard, touches of leather moving into lemons, fruity sour, lactic acid, touches of yogurt. Some vibrant white grape, touches of melon, with bigger oaky tannins, touches of vanilla, ok acidity on the nose. Initial is lighter bodied, with a good moderate sour lemons, decent acidity, touches of melon, pears, citrusy grapefruit. Lingering dry brett, hay, with touches of cheese and yogurt. More wet oak, tannins, fruity melange with moderate sourness. The Bourbon element is pretty much gone, surprisingly. Sharp and refreshing, spritzy sour lemons push the pace. Quality 100% Brett fermented beer that seemed a stretch in a Bourbon barrel. But really works. Top notch. Touches of grass. Nice lighter balanced sour that pushes a little bit more to the lactic side of things. Earthy almost tobbacco seems to creep in, but maybe it’s just me. Maybe it is someone smoking around me. Maybe it’s the plastic cup. I drank 3 or 4 of these.
