Draft. Rating #1,100. Yellowish milky white with a short, lacy white head. Light lemon & spice smell. Taste has delicate citrus and coriander as promised. Sweet, but unassuming in balance. No off notes, no extremes, just a great example of a wit.
pours cloudy yellow, nice white head. aroma of bananas and spice. similar flavor, with spices, and the banana returns in the finish. medium bodied. refreshing. refreshing, but not delicious.jpm30 (1587) - East Central, Georgia, USA - FEB 25, 2008

On-tap, served in a pint glass.
L: Unfiltered appearance, pale yellowish golden with a compact white head of stiff, firm foam. A fair amount of splotchy lace clings to the sides of the glass making this overall a good looking witbier.
S: Light scents of orange and lemon, touches of floral herbs, hints of sweet hard candy, everything is framed by scents of wheat grainy crackers.
F&T: Firm moderate body, crisp and quite dry in the finish. A nice soft twang from the orange peel and coriander, tastes of lemon and mildly sour orange. Dry wheat cracker malts with a light herbal spiciness coming out in the finish.
A pleasantly refreshing witbier, another delectably crafted beer from Flossmoor Station.

On tap at Flossmoor Station, May ’07, and served in a shaker. This witbier poured a slightly cloudy, golden color with a thin white head that slowly faded. Some faint lace was left around the glass. The aroma was made up of orange, coriander, and a touch of bread. The flavor was slightly spicy and yeasty, with the orange peel taking over towards the finish. The mouthfeel was light to medium-bodied with light carbonation. This was one of the best witbiers that I have had the pleasure of trying. Well done! bager (2120) - Copenhagen N, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2007
On tap at the brewpub. Hazy and yellow in colour with a medium sized head. Kinda refreshing with notes of fruit, banana, yeast and bread - pretty standard.

Draught. At the brewpub. Pale murky yellow with an average white head. Mild aroma, sweet grainy malt and mild coriander and other spices, lightly yeasty with some dry light hops. Taste - wheaty/grainy, not much yeast or spice character, a decent bit of sweet floral/herbal hops in the finish. Very weak and watery body - even for a wit - some astringency, oddly, mild carbonation and no alcohol presence at all - overall refreshing, but too watery and it needs some fruit character, as well as bolder spice and yeast presence. presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 28, 2007
Chicago trip. Saturday 11:52. Sample tray. The only one of the sample tray that I had a full pint of, partly due to the lower alcohol. Cloudy yellow. Very nice aroma; sharp zest and banana. Nice flavour similar to the aroma with a bit of chalkiness. Terminus (3716) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 11, 2007
tap at the repeal prohibition festival at Schlafly. pours hazy hellow with a big soapy white head. big orange/lemon and corriander nose with some pepper notes. huge corriander and orange on the flavors. very bold for the style but definately not detracting. i like my wits a bit more bold. Lite body appropriate for the style with a nice crisp body. definately a great wit and wish i could drink this one all the time. Ughsmash (7510) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 3, 2007
On tap at Flossmoor. I have to give credit where credit is due when a brewer takes an unexciting style and creates a flawless rendition. Poured a hazy, paler golden with a deeper center.. full cap of creamy white head. Wonderful aroma as well!.. rich, peppery spices and orange peel accent sweet banana and doughy notes.. sweet, yet spicy.. warm and complex.. truly wonderful! Nice contrast between sweet and spicy again in the flavor... banana and bready notes with layers of white pepper, coriander, and orange zest surrounding.. mild diacetyl accents on the finish.. very, very tasty! Almost medium-bodied with a great contrast between the sweetness and spiciness.. refreshing, too. Great stuff! frankenkitty (2014) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - MAY 1, 2007
Pours a murky, amber-hued-wheat colored body under an average-sized white head. Lemony, spiced aroma with incense notes and the zesty orange rind coming through strong. (Although at times, in conjunction with esters, it comes across a little like nail polish remover.) Thick in the mouth with a pleasant balance of pulpy/tart/citrusy fruit, dry spice, stable wheat and bready yeasts. A tingly sourness lingers long afterwards. My wife and I both found this to be a pleasant, summery quaff.
