I got a 16oz glass on tap at Flossmoor that poured a cloudy medium brown color with a slight off-white head. The taste was rather mild with a lot of malts. The texture was smooth and delivered a great refreshing taste that delivered a slight sweet after taste from the malts. A pretty well made, good tasting Dunkelweizen.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Flossmoor, IL). Pours a rich hazy pour, darker with a brownish middle and reddish copper glowing edges. A big cakey light brown head atop cakes well, stays large. Aromas are biscuity, flaked wheat, and caramel. A touch of banana, cherry, grass. Toastiness, mellow estery elements and darker caramel and carmelized slant. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, quite drinkable with some toastiness, grass, a touch metallic. Some biscuits, carmelization, gentle banana. Lighter overall, with mellow toasty elements, darker carmelized, touch of banana, dry bready malts. Middle is touches of toast, dryness, gentle fruity ester. More darker toast, dryness. Some grass. Backend and finish show some cherry, gentle banana and apple, dry flaked wheat, grass, bready and gfrainy dry cereal elements. A touch of toast, some toffee kisses. A solid Dunkel, dry and light for the style, pretty drinkable, keeping away from a ton of sweetness. Some jabs, caramel and toast, gentle ester, some dryness comes in. Well done, for my personal tastes. Nice.

On draft at Flossmoor, poured a light hazy brown color, aromas of toffee, wheat and light chocolate. Flavors are the same as aromas, light, cris, refreshing. Nice overall.
