Bottle shared by daknole -- thanks!! Pours brown in color with a trim beige head. Smells and tastes of hops, gelatin, rye bread, and licorice. Yes, please. BeerBunker (965) - Burbank, Illinois, USA - JUN 11, 2010
22oz bottle. Pours brown with a small tan had. Aroma is of rye, malt, dark fruit, sugar, and caramel. Taste is actually pretty big on the rye. There is also lots of dark fruit, sugar, spice, and caramel. Very dry malt base evens the beer out. As it warms, more raisin starts to come through. Lingering taste of rye and dark fruit. Very light, creamy mouthfeel. It’s boozy, but not in a bad way. I really liked this beer. hopdog (12584) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2010

UPDATED: JUN 17, 2011 A big thanks to Alex for this tasty treat. Pours clear mahogany with thin tan head. The aroma has smooth dark fruitiness, a nice load of rye spiciness and then a bit of booze heat. The taste is a wonderful mix of sweet dark fruitiness and spicy rye that blends into pervasive yet constrained yum! This stuff is smooth sweet spicy and wonderful. Wow!
