Dark green wax bottle from Binny’s. The beer pours a hazy amber-gold color with a medium fluffy light beige head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Piney hops aroma with some malty notes. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, earthy malt and fruit. The finish is earthy and herbal with a hoppy aftertaste. Pretty good overall. tomthompson89 (1982) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 6, 2010

Bomber with green wax; thanks Alex!! Pours hazy orange with thin white head; aromas of stale tropical fruit; drinks with a light fizzy sweetness and stale fruity notes; also has a mild butter flavor to it; mild fruity apricots and thin, creamy texture; the name is the highlight with this one Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 19, 2010
Olive green wax dipped bomber. Pours a clear, dark, golden amber hue with a gorgeous head of thick, lasting, eggshell colored foam. The dense crown leaves and equally stout blanket of hard, sticky lacing all over the glass. The nose is pretty well balanced, showing significantly less hop punch than I anticipated. Malty notes of bread and toffee provide the base sweetness, along with a hint of lactic cream, while notes of orange and pine provide the hoppy counterpoint. Flavors too are well balanced. Citrus, pine resin, and grass hop notes are subdued but well defined, providing steadying bitterness to an otherwise toffee driven, malty profile. It’s got a very "liquid bread" sort of feel to it. The palate is quite substantial, I’d call it nearly full for the style in fact, with a creamy, whipped sort of feel to it. Overall, it’s a solid IPA. I like alot about it, but I’d prefer a more pronounced, sharp hop profile. SuperDave (1932) - Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA - MAR 14, 2010
Bottle shared by nbutler. Deep gold pour with a frothy head. Very fresh citrus hops in the aroma and flavor, backed up by a nice caramel malt. Pretty tasty IPA. Thanks Nick!

Draft @ Flossmoor Station, Flossmoor, IL. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Fruity hoppy grassy aroma with some hints of grapefruit. Fruity fresh grassy hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity hoppy bitter finish with grassy hints in the aftertaste. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 6, 2010
22 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small wispy beige head that retained as a thin film. Light lacing remained. The nose is pretty restrained for a wet hop beer, there seems to be more caramel malt than hops on display. There’s a bit of a metallic quality to the nose and some grassiness. Fairly light bitterness up front with some floral and herbal hoppiness. The malt dominates mid swallow and on the finish. Caramel and crystal malts leave a bit of a stale iced tea taste lingering around mixing with metallic hops. This is no where near as hop-forward as I would have expected. Medium bodied, a little sticky and clingy with fizzy soft carbonation. A bit of a let down. Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - DEC 30, 2009
Bomber shared by nbutler11 at the Black Friday tasting – thanks Nick! Pours dark clear gold with a one finger white head. The nose is fresh citrus and malt. The taste is citrus, toffee and light pine in the finish. Medium bodied. Nice IPA. hellbilly (3247) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - DEC 27, 2009
bottle with olive green wax shared by nbutler11 on 11/27/2009.
hazy pour is a golden-yellow amber-ish color and is capped by a thin white head.
the smell is spicy... mixed in are also a bit ofcitrus, woody, woodsy earth, dirt and some faint non resinous pine.
the palate is really dry while the flavor matches the aroma... somewhat. it is heavy on the spice hops, dirt and moist earth. citrus, pine and malt take a back seat.
the texture is smooth like mud... 6/4/6/3/13/3.2 riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - DEC 26, 2009
Nose is fresh and fruity. Grapefruit, floral notes, woody, earthy hops, some butter shows up. Murky orange, light foam on top, no lace. Lightly citrusy hops, juicy, woody, leafy flavors. Toasted malts and doughy bread. Some alcohol shows up too. Decent ipa, drinks well, but doesn’t have too many interesting qualities.
