22oz army green waxed cap. Hazy dark golden with flabby but sticky white head. Danky caramel, wet grass, light citrus, some malt and a touch of butter. Flat and a bit wattery. Pine butter, malty ginger, wet grass, not much bittering at all. First Flossmoor I’ve had in a bit, and really a bit of a let down. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 25, 2009
22 oz bottle. Clear orange with a lacy white head. Nose is mandarin orange, peach, toffee and candied lemon peel. Delicate and delightful. Medium light with a sharp tingle. Taste is caramel, cantaloupe and orange peel. Pine and juniper kick in with a dry bitter finish. My new favorite Flossmoor IPA. 3Faveryrogue (181) - Aslip, Illinois, USA - DEC 16, 2009
Imperial pint. Golden with white head. Smells soapy, fresh herbal hops. Mouth is upfront, and very pleasant. Pale biscuity malt back. Excellent bitter middle and end. Restored my faith in Shimkos’ IPA run. Great IPA. JahNoth (1039) - Rochester, New York, USA - DEC 11, 2009
Disappointing aroma - some bubblegum and a bit of hops. Cloudy with minimal head. Some citrus flavor, rather smooth, decent body, slight alcohol on the swallow. Bockyhorsey (2628) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - DEC 8, 2009
Sample courtesy of nbutler. Good grapefruit aroma. Gold body with white head. Good cirus hop flavor. Thanks Nick.

This was a great deal direct from Flossmoor. It must have been bottled not long ago because it tasted as if it had come directly from a tap. Once again Flossmoor has done a great job of a fall IPA. I could drink more of this easily.
Aroma / Appearance - Amber brown and radiant the faint white head shined under the afternoon sun. Grapefruit, citrus, malts, and pine shock the senses into paying attention. Everything works with the other components.
Flavor / Palate - Grassy citrus tones warm the mouth from the start. A malty aftertaste comes along with the smooth bitterness. Fresh and crisp this has a nice blend of hops and sweetness that draw you in. The only problem I would face is what to do once it was gone.
Hazy orange pour with moderate white head. Nose is big pine, fruity citrus, crystal malt, and whiffs of alcohol. Big alcohol flavor, along with the significant hop bite and nicely balanced crystal mlat sweetness. An all around winner of a harvest-type IPA! adrian910ss (2572) - Doylestown, PA, USA - NOV 5, 2009
22 oz bomber with olive green wax. Pours a murky gray golden honey with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is buttery with hints of bitter hops and citrus. Taste of bitter hops, citrus with a buttery flavor.
