22oz bottle with grey wax. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a big off white head, spotty lacing. Nose is big on spicy hops with a faint clove and citrus fruits. TwoDudes (77) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JUN 22, 2009
I didn’t like this beer very much...I don’t really like Americanized Belgian IPAs.............................................. kmeves (1098) - Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 26, 2009
Pours a cloudy light amber with a long lasting white head and some lacing. Aroma is very sweet, fruity and yeasty. The flavor is nicely hopped with pine and citrus yet is balanced by crystal malt. Typical tripel sweetness is also apparent. Very smooth mouthfeel, peppery aftertaste. jeffwilliams11 (310) - hooterville, Michigan, USA - FEB 17, 2009
pours hazy straw color with little head. aroma is kind of green, mildly funky...bready, small spicieness. flavor is a little lacking...if this is supposed to be a cross between a douple ipa and something belgain, it falls short of both counts. finish is quite clean and crisp though... bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 22, 2009
(Draught) Pours a cloudy golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, Belgian yeast, and florals. Flavor of hops (citrus, grassy), Belgian yeast, pepper, and clove with a dry finish.

Bottle in trade from d0b. Thanks! Pours a hazy glowing orange color with a lasting cream colored head. Smell is nicely hoppy and smooth with a faint touch of yeastiness. Taste is fairly mild as far as bitterness goes and moderately hopped for flavor. Floral, tropical fruit, yeasty and definitely somewhat belgian in character but nicely balanced between the two styles. Very smooth and drinkable. Medium body, and no sign of the ABV. Pretty good. sersdf (1020) - chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 30, 2008
draft at brewery. tropical hops are the dominant character here. reasonably sweet and balanced. actually seemed a little overcarbonated, but it was good. the alcohol wasn’t noticeable at all. DuffMan (10610) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 22, 2008
GABF 2008. Hazy orange, big tropical fruit hop nose (passionfruit, grapefruit). Sweet malt is a little on the thin side for such a big beer, but the hops are there by the truckload. Nice tropical fruit, long bitter finish. A surprisingly drinkable IIPA given its strength. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 8, 2008
A very aromatic, full-bodied big IPA.

Not as bitter as I’d feared, this is really aromatic. Cloudy light amber pour, surprisingly lasting head. Tasty and complex hop character, very floral and with charming mango and exotic fruit notes. Very juicy malt profile with a chewy toastiness.
Fairly yeasty in fact and this is a distraction more than a complement with its bready background that obstructs the fruitiness. Quite acidic hop profile.
22 oz bomber courtesy of Todd. Pours a hazy yellow honey orange with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma of grassy hops, oranges, lemon and honey. Taste is grassy with hints of orange lemon citrus.
