hotstuff (5208) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - FEB 8, 2014
Rated on 4-01-2010 at Flossmoor. This draft beer pours a small off-white head that is mostly lasting, transparent yellow body, no carbonation observed, and a good amount of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt, grainy, fruity, citrus and floral hops. The taste is bitter, malty and citrus hops. The palate is smooth and this APA is medium bodied. In conclusion, this beer is not overly hoppy tasting, has a nice citrus flavor and is worth trying. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 17, 2011

Aroma is light grains, color is light yellow/pilsner gold. High hops, low malt, nothing interesting, more of an IPA. Palage is lingering hops. Not again too hoppy and not interesting thedm (6280) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 24, 2010
This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a uncarbonated transparent light orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The weak aroma was mild floral and hoppy. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of mild hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. nickd717 (4780) - San Francisco, California, USA - MAY 2, 2010
On tap at Flossmoor Station pre-DLD.
Pours clear golden-copper with a one-finger white head.
Aroma is citrusy and earthy hops with some fairly sweet malt notes to balance.
This tastes like two parts 1492 IPA and one part water. The nice IPA flavors are there, but just less pronounced. Sweet caramel malt and honey along with citrusy, earthy, and resinous hops.
Pretty standard mouthfeel for the style. Average dryness, medium body, and average carbonation level.
This is a drinkable beer, and overall an above-average but not great American pale ale.

On tap at Flossmoor. Pours amber with a small tan head. Aroma is of yeast, malt, hops, and grass. Taste is of very citrusy hops and grass. Very dry malt backbone. Has a slight underlyinfg roastiness to it. Lingering hop sweetness. It drinks easy, but it’s a tad too thin. I could drink a few of them. j12601 (12979) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 29, 2010
On tap at Flossmoor. Pours a just clear golden orange, with a medium sized white head. Nice clean citrus hops, malt and caramel on the nose. Very nice hop profile, good malt and hop balance in the body. Finishes up with a slow crisp gritty bitterness. Decent pale. dm9831 (1512) - Monee, Illinois, USA - APR 3, 2010
golden amber, slight off white head, some lace. citrus, caramel, touch of orange peel in nose. citric tartness, quite a bit of grapefruit bitterness in the flavor. medium bodied, dry, bitter finish. quite enjoyable...light, but lingering bitterness. on tap @ brewpub. msante79 (2225) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - MAR 20, 2010
On tap at the station. Pours lightly hazed golden orange with white head. Aromas of floral hops, citrus, pine, caramel malts. Flavors of citrus and pine, with medium hop bitterness and nice caramel and toffee malts. Not overly bitter or hoppy, but did have nice malt backbone. Another very sessionable brew. Almost grabbed a growler of this but with The Curse instead. Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - MAR 4, 2010
On tap at the brewpub: This poured an amber/orange body, slightly hazed, with a respectable head and loads of lace. The aroma had a light caramel/toffee base topped of with a strong citrus and pine hoppiness with just a touch of the floral. Very nicely balanced twixt malt and hops in the flavor, leaning a tad towards the hop flavors and bitterness. The finish was dry and moderately bitter. Very sessionable brew.
