Our "India Pale Lager". This beer was made with a blend of European hops, then dry-hopped in the fermenter with the same type of blend. In this cask, we have added MORE hops, but only used American citrus varieties. The IPL was dry hopped with all European varieties. Attenuation was 78%, and for a lager that is an appropriate attenuation

jredmond (8999) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 1, 2013
Draft with Andrew, GABF 2012 weekend. Pours a light body with nice white lacing. Aroma is grassy hop, nice malt balance, light pine and caramel. Mouthfeel is on the thinner side of medium with a nice grassy hop character taking the lead; followed by a decent malt bill, spice, grain and citrus fruits.

arminjewell (9756) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 10, 2013
Pour on tap, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of slight grass, herbs, hints of caramel, toffee, slight herbal notes as well, hints of slight citrus in there as well. Taste is a mix of herbs, slight grass, biscuit and caramel notes, hints of slight white fruit, touch of earthy tones, finishing fairly bitter, dry.

nimbleprop (9146) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - OCT 24, 2012
Sampled at GABF. Very hazy orange with some clumpy beige head. Sweet, honey aroma, earthy, herbal, light citrus. Sweet, honey flavor, biscuits, dried malt, lemon. Medium bodied, dry finish. A bit too simple although I liked the grain bill.

daknole (11050) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 22, 2012
Coppery/orangish pour. Floral notes up front, some honey, melon, light tropical fruit and grassy hops. Flavor is citrusy, hoppy, honey, crisp and easy to drink.

madvike (3320) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 25, 2012
On tap at GTMW - Pours hazy light amber with a white ring of head. Nose has citrus hops and honey over a light malt base. Taste is floral hops, dry light pale malt, bready with light yeast. Smooth and well-carbonated.

JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 27, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pretty indistinct appearance, murky pale orange with a minimal head. Straw and corn in the nose, a bit of crisp hops and light fruit perhaps. Thinnish body and a taste that’s fairly unassertive, not nearly enough of the advertised bold hoppiness.

maxwelldeux (4373) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - APR 13, 2012
Has some hoppy tones to it with a relatively clean smooth finish. Fairly spicy, too, in fact.

envane (586) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 1, 2012
Cloudy orange with visible floaties and a white head. Aroma of herbal/tea hops. Taste is light malts, yeast with herbal and tea hops and a dry finish.

Atom (2640) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 20, 2011
On tap at brewpub pours copper/golden with medium off-white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, citrus, and slight pine. Taste is sweet full bodied caramel malts with slight pine bitterness on the finish. Not bad but doesn’t really do it for me seems like a half decent IPA just not picking up any lager aspects.

chibuck (3521) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 15, 2011
draft... nice light gold, clear crisp, off white creamy head, great lacing... light but nice nose, lemon citrus, a bit of flowers, just needs to be stronger... tastes great in a surprising way, light lager backbone that is sweet with some floral zest but has a really nice bite of hops to it, super crisp drinker, new and enjoyable experience
