Had at Otown throwdown. Very ambery color. Small white head. Citrusy hops. caramel flavors kind of peak out past the hops, but not too much. Really nice carbonation. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 3, 2009
22oz bottle, ’mustard’ yello waxed bottle acquired in trade wtih NobleSquirrel (thanks!). Poured a medium amberish/golden color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, Mike’s cat’s pee, grainy, and some citrus. Tastes of floral hops, citrus, the same grainiess, and some earthiness. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - APR 2, 2009
Much thanks to hopdog for sharing this one. Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium bubbly/creamy white head that laced. Aroma of orange, pine, cat piss, floral...aroma is all hops. Flavor of tons of hops, mixed citrus, floral, some pine and a touch of some caramel malt. Moderate hop bitterness. mreusch (851) - Olathe, Kansas, USA - MAR 23, 2009
Yellow wax bomber, with thanks to FlssmrBrewAlum! Pours a hazy golden with a white cap. Aroma is a nice blend of field flowers, pine and citrus. On the flavor the pine comes out a little more, but maintains some floral and citrus notes along with some caramel to balance things out; finishes slowly with some grapefruit rind as well. A solid IPA for sure, and Flossmoor continues to impress, thanks again Adam! harrisoni (18402) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2009
Many thanks to Urbain for letting us sample this at the Alvinne pre Zythos event 09. Aroma is leafy hop, floral and simply a 10. Then things go a bit downhill. Tea flavour and just a bit empty in the mouth. Toasty. Decnt on the end. More toasted tea. Lovely start, but it just doesn’t live up to the aroma in the mouth.

Bottle from the Otown throwdown. Pours a amber/copperish color wtih a decent white head. Aroma is full of citrus hops. Flavor bites you with some citrus bitterness and some grass flavors. Malt is there, but the hops do shine. NIce. mgumby10 (1856) - Jupiter, Florida, USA - MAR 16, 2009
Pours a mildly hazy light copper color, with a medium white head. Smells of big hops and citrus, maybe some grapefruit, and spice in there too. The flavor was much of the same. very crisp and sharp in its mouthfeel. the hops and light malt presence seem to balance each other out quie well. The citrus was mostly up front, with hop bitterness taking over in the finish and aftertaste. Pretty solid IPA. dchmela (3061) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAR 15, 2009
Sampled at C&P Otown Throwdown, big thanks to whoever brought this! Pours a hazy light amber. Big soapy earthy citrus hop aroma. Taste is hoppy bitter, with lots of citrus grapefruit and soem earthiness in the taste. Nice malt balance makes this a very nice ipa. JorisPPattyn (9927) - Ursel, BELGIUM - MAR 7, 2009
Drank as Brewers’ Whim Mustard Yellow wax Little or no head; yellow-orange gold beer. Fresh grapes, lunaria, unripe but exotic fruit, starfruit. Dry-liqueurish flavour; hops abundant but still held in check. Despite there seem to be some fusels, the general flavour is very clean. Sticky, nearly viscous, as from the hopoils, but nowhere cloying. Another nice one from Matt! Thanks to MvW and Urbain for pouring! Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 6, 2009
I think this is the beer. Yellow wax bottle courtesy of hopdog. Pours caramel with a thin white head. Smells of grapefruit, oranges, some melon. Tastes of caramel, pine resin, some bitter citrus. This is an amazing beer. Well done!
