Our Panama Limited Red is a hoppy, robust yet smooth amber ale brewed with nine different malts and four types of hops. With its deep amber color and rich malty body, our Panama Limited Red will smoothly transport you into the wonderful world of complex and flavorful handcrafted beers. Pours a very murky amber with a thick tan head...lively...nice retention and lacing. aroma has earthy hoppiness...bitter...some slight caramel malt...a very faint plasticy note but it is hidden and doesnt detract too much. Flavor has lots of caramel maltiness and earthy, almost woody hops...earthy bitterness...mostly balanced leaning toward hoppy. Mouthfeel is full and the finish is dry and earthy/bitter.

Hoppy and bitter for a red. Bubbly head on a reddish brown pour. Had this on draft at Jerry's in Andersonville. Really good - top notch for a red

Sampled at the brewpub. it poured a dark amber color with a beige head. The aroma was of caramel, some pine and grapefruit. The taste was of lightly roasted caramel malt, mild earthly yeast and some grapefruit rind. It was very nicely balanced and flavorful. Well done.

Draft at Jerry’s. Hazy amber with light, whispy beige head, no legs / Bright nose of pine, caramel, citrus / Light body, acidic, dry with some astringency, bitter finish / Light flavors of toast, pine, grapefruit / Pleasant enough in light, very dry, style.

Nice imperial red here. It is hoppy and robust yet not a chore to finish. Malts and hops both shine.

ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - OCT 10, 2012
On tap at Brew Pub. Pours a deep amber color with a light tan head and decent retention. Aroma is piney hops mainly, with notes of citrus and light caramel malt. Taste has a piney hop backbone with a light citrusy base and a bit of caramel malt. Medium to light bodied with medium carbonation.

4.2
csaso (2328) - Missouri, USA - OCT 9, 2012
Tap - big thick head, beautiful dark amber color, very nice big grapefruit hop aroma and favor, balanced well with sweet malt - almost more of an IPA than an Amber ale
