Jamaica Red, African Amber, Panama Red...all right, enough of this silliness. Those places don't brew great beer so cut it out!! Yellow-amber. Huge dry-hop aroma - citrus, cedar. (10/14/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Flossmoor. Clear amber color with an off-white head. Aroma of slightly flowery and slightly earthy hops and a bit of toasted malt. Draft sample at brewpub. Poureed hazy dark amber color with an average fizzy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted citrus hop aroma. Medium body. Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear reddish-amber color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus and caramel malt. Medium body with flavors of moderately bitter hops, toasted malt and grapefruit. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.
