22oz. Poured a hazy deep amber with a small off-white head. Big citrus hop forward aroma with some sweet malt backing it up. Very big grapefruit jucie flavor. Almost like being a fruit beer. Some malt to round it out. The bitterness is mild. Medium bodied. Long finish. Suttree (6479) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 2, 2008
Cloudy orange. Lots of citrus on the nose - grapefruit, tangerine - and a touch of woodsy, pine notes. A bit f caramell, then a hoppy, citrusy finish. I fpressed, I’d say it smells a bit better than it tastes, but its still tastes pretty good. Thanks to Heemer for bringing this to Noogfest 4! heemer77 (5360) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUN 8, 2008
Bomber. The aroma was strong grapefruit with some bread and caramel. The body was hazy gold colored with a white head. The taste was grapefruit with some toast notes. There was also some almonds in the sweet finish. Solid. tjthresh (1875) - Greenfield, Indiana, USA - JUL 23, 2008
Pours murky yellow-orange with a dirty off white head. Juicy hop aroma. Reminds me of Fruit Stripe gum. Decidedly hoppy flavor with the typical citrus and pine. Kind of orangey. There is plenty of caramel malt to go along with it though. Full body with a nice amount of carbonation and a dry finish. Lingers a bit. Really good. Thanks for holding on to this Greg. Draft at the Station. Great aroma and great color. Nice sweet floral hop taste but a bit harsh on the back end.

heemer–pours a white head and hazy copper color. Aroma is citrus/pine hops. Taste is citrus/pine hops-some dry bitterness, secondary medium malt. Some slickness.
22oz from scubarex - thanks, Russ! Nice amber pour with a big creamy head. Very appealing, and the nose is quite rich too - slight bitterness but mostly an abundant floral aroma. That’s just my game in terms of DIPAs, a big San Diego style done by a fine Midwestern brewery. Very hefty malt center to this beer gives it a substantial quality, and a long smooth finish that suits the lively citrus just right. Slightly pungent note creeps into the taste, but overall quite good. scraff (2121) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - AUG 27, 2008
22 oz. bottle, courtesy of kmweaver. Thanks, Ken! Dark amber gold, creamy white head. Thick hop aromas of grassy peach and earthy citric pine notes. Swirls of caramel become apparent at room temp. Bittersweet earthy hop flavors reign supreme throughout. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Good brew now, but fresh I’m guessing is the way to go on this one... beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - JUN 4, 2008
Tasted at Noogfest 4.0 (2008). This Imperial IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet with some citrusy hops. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are citrusy and grapefruit. Nice balance. Good carbonation. A nice IPA, well balanced without a lot of bitterness. I guess I shouldn’t measure this one up against all those West Coast 2xIPAs. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean aqnd smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
