3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. I was told by the server this was a raspberry wheat. Certainly some wheatiness to it. I found a nice balance of fruitiness and hoppiness. A pale slightly hazy body under a thin, fizzy head. Not one of Todd's usual a**-kickers, but a good summer quencher that may improve with each batch.
Fruity and light. A red to amber pour with a thin and slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet. Flavor of raspberry with a slight synthetic feel. jandd1983 (4330) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Sampled at the brewpub. It poured a lightly hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of raspberry, some wheat and floral notes. The taste was of raspberry, some tart wheat, light citrus and a touch of bitterness. Not my style, but was enjoyable. chibuck (3513) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 28, 2011
On tap at the brew pub.
Poura an ugly dark copper that looks like it had purple dye dumped in the middle, just looks generic. Good retention and lacing...The aroma is really nice raspberries, not generic at all, almost as good and real as a framboise lambic in terms of representing the true smell of a raspberry. The fruit is further balanced by some really nice wheat aromas...The taste sadly is a huge letdown those nice raspberries turn here into some generic and stale and reminds of another crappy stawberry beer that just can’t be done right. too sweet, generic, with a weird aftertaste.
A poor fruit wheat beer that’s not worth trying. sbanach (222) - Alabama, USA - MAR 26, 2011
This one was just amazing. I tried a sample before my meal and ended up ordering an imperial pint afterwards. The aroma is of raspberry, sweet, slightly tart, citrus. The color is a wonderful dark ruby red haze. Raspberry taste, tart, and slightly sweet. Raspberry is definitely tasted in this beer. Nice clean aftertaste. Will be ordering again. I bet this brew pairs great with a cheesecake. Dogbrick (13012) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAR 5, 2011
Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a hazy purple-amber color with a medium ivory white head that recedes to a film. Thick rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of raspberries and grainy malt. Light to medium body with flavors of tart raspberry, sweet malt and wheat. The finish is fruity with a slightly sour aftertaste. Pretty standard fruit beer overall.

On tap at Flossmoor Station pre-DLD.
Pours deep hazy red with a small off-white/pink head.
Aroma is raspberries, wheat, and grain. Decent, better than the cherry wheat beer here.
Flavor has a nice fresh raspberry note, along with some medicinal cough syrup. A little wheat as well. Not too sweet, unlike the cherry wheat.
Medium body. A little watery on the palate, but not terrible.
A pretty average fruit beer overall. Nothing too exciting, but drinkable and not too offensive at least. j12601 (11943) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 29, 2010
On tap at Flossmoor. Pours a hazy crimson brown with a medium sized white head. Smells of raspberry puree, sweet and syrupy. Sweet and with some wheat, a bit empty and one dimensional, sort of like someone dumped some jam in there. Cloying finish. anders37 (26641) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 2, 2010
Draft @ Flossmoor Station, Flossmoor, IL. Pours a reddish color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity fresh raspberry aroma. Fruity raspberry flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a sweetish wheat malty raspberry finish. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - DEC 12, 2009
Tap at Flossmoor. Must have been in the mood - this tasted fantastic on this day. Slightly hazy dark orange/red pour, white head. Sour raspberry nose, great raspberry flavor, not too much, easy drinking. ilovedarkbeer (2741) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAY 25, 2009
Tight nose. Sour fruits and hints of malt. Flavor is sour raspberries and thats about it. Mouthfeel is tart and medium weight with a medium length finish. Meh.
