Bottle 500ml. @ home.

[ As Flötzinger Bräu Rosenheimer Märzen ].
Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, pale malt. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, fruity - sugary, malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141221]

Smörig söt arom, även i smaken. Ljusare än jag trodde. Men märZens kan tydligen vara ljusa numera. Påminner lite om en Kellerbier också i doft & smak. Lite humlad, mest malt. Man känner knäckigheten. Väldigt Lättdrucken men ändå inte vattnig. Hade dock gärna fått vara fylligare. Ingen direkt eftersmak. Lite humle sådär. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flasche 50cl. Erdige Hopfennoten verbinden sich mit honigartigen Caramellmalznoten. Sehr aromatisch, harmonisch und süffig. Übertrifft einige Oktoberfest-Monopolisten an Komplexität bei weitem!

mile (3947) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 31, 2014
Bottle. Light golden, small to average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate, malty - grainy and sweetish, light caramel and some bread, faint hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, light caramel and bread, light hoppyness. Finish is shoert to average, malty - lightly grainy and lightly sweetish, light bread and hoppyness with light metal and alcohol. Thin märzen with notes of metal and alcohol in the finish. Really nothing special.

hobsch (505) - Cologne, GERMANY - JUN 24, 2014
Bottle 0.5l. Pours clear golden with white head. Aroma is malty, grainy. Taste is light bitter, light to medium sweet, malty, grains. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with medium carbonation. Bit too watery for a Märzen but still drinkable and ok.

kamwitsta (553) - POLAND - JUN 12, 2014
The aroma was intensely floral and fruity for a second, and then it all disappeared leaving just some malt leftovers. Golden, clear, the head medium and unstable. The taste sweetish and sourish, very little bitterness. The body medium, feels a little foamy, carbonation above average, finish slightly sweet, slightly tart. Meh. Märzens can be better.

2.7
bierkoning (13355) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - APR 18, 2014
Bottle. Golden color. Hints of pear and grass in the aroma. Malty sweetish, grassy flavor with hints of apple. Almost medium bodied. Mediocre märzen.
