The Trafalgar Tavern, Greenwich. Aroma of malt and floral hop. Deep amber color with a frothy white head. LIghtly sweet malt start, somewhat balanced by hop, but the malt persists into the finish.

Cask at Crown Inn, Southampton. Nut brown. Flowery hoppy nose. Sweet and perfumy with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Some caramel, plenty of perfumy hops, mildly bitter finish. Not bad at all.

Half pint on cask. Golden brown. Low foam level. Floral aroma. Flavour of fruity sweetness and an overall floral impression. A touch of bitterness in the aftertaste. Light to medium bodied (The Old Crown, Bloomsbury 20.09.2006).

Cask: Light amber coloured, small firm, lacing white head; sweet (a bit fruity), malty nose with a distinctive floral bitterness; sweet (fruity) -bitter flavour, light bodied; soft, but distinctive sweet-bitter finish. A soft, well rounded Bitter.......

A Mes rate: Cask from The Feathers in Baker Street. Standard aroma. Decent muddy body. Slight head. Lots of lace. Nice clean citric hoppy finish which has a very slight sweetness. Shame about the watery palate.

Amber with little head. Served chilled. Smooth, with a fruity and citrus aroma. Pleasent and refreshing but rather too fizzy and un-interesting for me.

Cask at the Hog and Donkey, Kent Bizarre pub in the middle of the marsh just south of Herne. The beer was on gravity. Mid brown in colour with some hops and some malts. Bit thin in mouth with some acidity, short finish

TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 30, 2005
Pint poured at the Thomas Beckett in Canterbury. A clear brown topped off by a smooth head (and no carbonation). Aroma was a rich flowery maltiness, but wasn’t very strong. Flavour was of bitter hops and hints of liqourice. Very smooth on the palate with a slight bitterness left on the tounge. Good beer this, even got a decent recommendation from the ladies.
