Cask: Clear coppery hue. Malty, slightly toasted aroma. Smooth balanced palate, sweet mild biscuity malt, a touch of caramel, hoppy overtones, drying a little in the finish. kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - AUG 27, 2005
Cask: Copper with a sudsy beige head. Mild fruity aroma. Refreshing session bitter. Mild caramel in there too. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 6, 2006

Small white head. Fruity aroma. Bronze golden coloured and fruity with a crisp and slightly dry full malt finish. bhensonb (15095) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 25, 2007
The Trafalgar Tavern, Greenwich. Aroma of malt and floral hop. Deep amber color with a frothy white head. LIghtly sweet malt start, somewhat balanced by hop, but the malt persists into the finish. Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 6, 2002
Average bitter, I had it from cask. The pump badge reads ’strong ale’, despite it only being 4.4% ABV. Not too much head, a little bitterness and definate flower flavours. Easy to drink.

Cask conditioned. Aroma of floral hops with some earthiness and pearlike fruitiness. Dry body with growing caramel sweetness. Some hop bitterness in the finish. Creamy and pleasant but lacking in flavour. larsga (7509) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 15, 2007
Medium offwhite shiny head. Amber body. Mild malty wooden aroma. Sweetish roasty tea and wooden taste. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Dry wooden lemony floral aftertaste. Nice! (0.5pt cask at Trafalgar Inn, Greenwich.) Leighton (21089) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 22, 2011
Cask at the Westbourne. Pours a clear, rich copper with pretty much no head. Nuts, mild toast and mild fruits on the nose. Some doughy malts and burnt nuts in the flavor with light sweetness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Very dry finish with heavy herbal and leafy hops. Nothing special. dnas2 (705) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2006
Amber with little head. Served chilled. Smooth, with a fruity and citrus aroma. Pleasent and refreshing but rather too fizzy and un-interesting for me. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 23, 2006
A Mes rate: Cask from The Feathers in Baker Street. Standard aroma. Decent muddy body. Slight head. Lots of lace. Nice clean citric hoppy finish which has a very slight sweetness. Shame about the watery palate.
