3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty good interpretation of the style. Bready aroma. Pours golden and clear. Some hops on the tail end. Fluffy head. Well rounded. One of the better kolsch styke beers I have tried.
Decent American kolsch...has a better German flavor than many I've tried. A little lacking in flavor but crisp. Lingers a little longer than it should. Makes a good refreshing summer beer.

I don't recall having a Kolsch beer before. I enjoyed it very much. Good for a casual beer. It's very light in appearance and taste.

Nothing off detected but rather boring and I didn’t feel like doing the super critical rating. Bottle from Steve - thanks Steve! bigda83 (854) - Jamestown, New York, USA - AUG 13, 2015
Draft at UM at Canal Side. Poured a clear golden yellow with small bubbly white head. Aroma was yeast, hay, slight funk. Flavor had a mild citrus to it, straw, grass, funky. Meh. Lighter body and thin texture. Average carbonation and dry finish. Ok, but not very good. Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - MAY 23, 2015
Where and how: PG / bottle 355 ml.

Aroma true aroma, nice golden malt feel, clean with gentle fruity weave in by. Maybe hop profile was tad generic.
Top: lighter white top.
Base: clear, golden Kolsch.
Palate : medium bodied, tad thinner walls. Front decent but lacking but of depth.
Taste: proper, mid tier Kolsch. Feels very authentic. It has mild hop bite of proper tune, clean malt with hint of wheat in it.
Other notes like a poor brother to Muhlen Kolsch and yes that is complement.
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a one finger head of billowy white foam. The fades almost instantly leaving only the tracest level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is mainly of a cracker and somewhat grainy smell with a decent showing of some grassy and herbal smells. A very light lemongrass and toast smell are there as well, giving a very dry smell overall.
Taste – The taste begins rather thin with a light cracker and toasted malt flavor. A slight sweetness of a caramel flavor along with a little bit of a grainy taste are present as well. As the taste moves on, the sweet increases a little bit, with a small amount of a grassy and hay like flavor coming to the tongue. A slightly sour lemon flavor joins the flavor profile more toward the end of the taste, mixing with the rest of the flavors, to leave a rather light and moderately crisp flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather thin with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the more subtle flavor profile and the drier flavors of the brew, the feel is fantastic, making for a nice refreshing and crisp brew.
Overall – A drier and crisp brew that fits the kolsh style. An all right brew overall.

12oz bottle from a Tops store in Hamburg, NY. A straw colour with a thin white head; sweet grainy aroma; slightly sour grainy taste; and a crisp finish. Not bad, but I don’t know what they would make of this in Cologne. ansermadide (1526) - Kyle, Texas, USA - AUG 9, 2013
Light golden/yellow in color with an airy white head. It looks thin and slightly sweet. I’m guessing this is grainy just from the looks of it. There’s no head retention at all. The aroma is slightly sweet with a touch of grain and perhaps some signature lager skunkiness. It is well-balanced and light, though.
It’s even more light on the palate and mouthfeel. More straight-up grain and straw than sweetness in the mouth. There’s a slight mineral water dryness on the tongue that surfaces in the finish. This is certainly something to drink during the summer months... in the heat of the 100+ degree Texas heat. It’s certainly far from exceptional... but then again it is a Kölsch. Not too bad for the style. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - JUL 29, 2013
July 2013 from bottle. Golden color with a white head. Not a bad beer, just a boring style, but very drinkable. On the lighter side, but with flavors. Good on a hot day. rdenney18 (109) - Lawton, Iowa, USA - JUL 23, 2013
12 oz bottle. Nice summer drinking beer. Has a nice smooth finish and flavor.
